Since there'll be multiple rounds, I voted for multiple things. Still: keep in mind I haven't played a single one of these games (and only played Mario maker from the list).
My votes:
* Witcher 3: wild hunt: while it's not exactly my kind of game, I just love how awesome the devs are. Tons of content (apparently), free DLC and linux support. This is more of a "when will I find the amount of time needed to even start this game?" rather than a question of whether it's good.
* Splatoon: if for nothing else, to show that the shooter genre is NOT dead and things do NOT have to look grey and serious.
and my number one spot is one nobody even voted for yet:
* Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
Yeah, I wouldn't have heard from it
if it wasn't for Totalbiscuit either. but it gets my spot for making a co-op game that's actually focused around co-op.
So...since I haven't played these games I won't be voting in the next rounds (and I have no doubt that my top pick won't make it that far
), but still: good luck to all games selected.
But erm...why aren't games like smash bros or Xenoblade X not on this list?
