Note: I'm just posting stuff that comes to my mind. I have just finished playing PkmSMD.

Remember when Final Fantasy was supposed to be Square Soft's last game and they poured everything into it and it sold well, continuing the franchise?

Remember when Fire Emblem: Awakening was supposed to be Intelligent Systems' last game and they poured everything into it and it sold well, continuing the franchise?

Remember when Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon was supposed to be Spike Chunsoft's last game and they poured everything into it and it sold well? (and maybe continuing the franchise?)

It's just funny.

Last Window: The Secret of Cape West was Cing last game.

THQ the same which no last game could save it.

we mainly hear about the good stories im sure in the last 30 years we had loads of bad ones.

Stella Glow was also the last game from Imagepooch games.

LJN also had a last game, which was a racer?, that's what i recall.
Tactics Ogre: Lets us Cling Together (PSP Remake) was "technically" Quest last game, with no more coming.

Videogame companies aren't eternal, someday, they will have to cease developing, and Nintendo, while it has a really strong fanbase, it isn't eternal, because nothing is.

Nintendo is a great company, heck, just look at the avatar i have right now (to be honest, i haven't completed that game yet, I only heard some songs of it), but as always, Reality will hit, Nintendo faced this year the death of Satoru Iwata, and nobody is telling you that Shigeru Miyamoto isn't going to die, I believe that as a company, they can probably keep going without either, but then, problems arise, Nintendo may have to face the most dangerous point of it's life span, the distrust of the fanbase, etc.

With the amount of Capital, Nintendo possess, they will hardly receive any problems (economically), but money isn't infinite, once they reach the negative numbers, they can even go bankrupt!, obviously, I don't think this will happen soon, heck, but nobody has a crystal ball to ask "Hey, when is Nintendo going to fall?" or something, because unlike Manga, Anime, or videogames, in real life almost everything is unpredictable.

wait, what? am i missing something? they wouldn't have teased/announced danganronpa 3 if SMD was going to be their last game

Okay then, for future reference try to not take seriously my posts unless they are more than 10 or 14 nonsensical words, most probably i'll have a post like that in the EOF rather than in, any normal one, and don't take what i said before seriously also, i'm not so much of a PC Master Race, i have a very, very decent computer, and i'm not much into it, i rather play with consoles for commodity, to each to their own, well yeah, going back to the topic.

Final games of a company are usually the kind of games when a company is near bankrupt, some companies try to have a finale epic game that combines the best of the best in order to bring joy, and others, just make a half assed sequel to say "We're done with this, moving on!", and there's also the case of companies that don't give more sequels (or fucks) to a franchise, since they are doing well with another one, the case of for example, EA when they can be doing BOB 2, or the case of Nintendo with the Mother Series, where the own creator Shigesato Itoi, stated that he won't be making more games.

I'm more sad for those franchises that have an opportunity to shine again, but they won't, as it is the case of Banjo Kazooie and Conker's Bad fur Day, the first getting "Nuts & Bolts", considered one of the most critical panned games of the X360 library, and Conker's, well, he got off even worse, and don't make me talk of franchises that had a good game in the golden years, and it was evolving onto the point of limitless things, until the company in charge decides to cut it off the series once again, example: Crash Bandicoot (How i miss you....)

I still don't see how someone could take this coment of yours as a serious answer.

That said, I'm very trustful that Nintendo will still be alive whenever our actual society breaks itself, and people start a new age of anarchy, pain and sorrow. At that time, you know, every company will fall, but Nintendo will be the last one standing up.

Or whenever that big rock from space comes down and squashes us like flies.

I take 99.9% of the time all answers serious, most of the time to avoid misunderstandings, like, i know that comment was made in joke, but i wanted to follow the topic he might be leading or wanting to talk, but you know, we are on the Internet, i could post something ridiculous like "My Little Pony will never die, they are so good waa" and they can actually be responding in a serious way, extra points if they get offended by a sarcastic comment, so my position is more of a "Just respond what i think i could respond" rather than a follow up of jokes, that's my way of work, and nobody is changing me that.

It's okay. I understood after reading your answers to him. That's the reason I quoted his post and not one of yours. It simply looked like the content of his message couldn't be real by any means. None could ever think for real that a man-made company will still exist when the universe ends. And, well, if he was serious about his answer, he would have some mental problems.

I understand your point of view, and I respect it. I never wanted to be rude towards you nor anything. I simply pointed out my own opinion about the content of his post being so silly as to take it as a serious answer. But that's just my opinion, and I wanted to post it, and that's all.
