Hi I am having some problems running this game on my 3DS XL I have R4i Gold chip and All the games I play runs without lag but Love Plus it lags alot

Are you playing in Skip mode or Real time? Real time mode is the only way to fully experience the game.
It will unlock many things you can do, I'm on 405d with Rinko; and I'm getting bored of the kissing mini games. lol
But I guess getting her into swimsuits was worth it.

I had an R4i gold and dumped it, the card butchered the game several times when it crashed. Try wiping the game off the cart (keep your save), do a chkdsk on the card with the /f option, the put the game back on.
I ended up fixing my old r4i3ds gold and went back to that with no issues.
I'm thinking about getting the Rinko limited edition New Love Plus + 3DS LL.

I love that console.. Make sure you get a duraflexi/hori case with it, it is TPU, soft and relatively transparent. It is the only case that will protect the console without damaging it. The clear "crystal" cases scratch the console. The box set is lovely All of the date problems I have seen stem from 2 issues. Use of hex edits/cheats or "time travel". Time travel is when you change the date on the console and go back to a time or date before your previous save, that usually breaks the game.

Hey everyone. Necroposting here I guess. I have a R4i Gold (r4ids.cn) and for the life of me cannot get the game to boot. I've tried both translated and untranslated versions, but all I ever get to is a white screen. Nothing after that I'm afraid... Any suggestions? I tried to boot a different "kernel" (??) I saw on the site's page, but no luck. Plus right now, I don't quite want to muck around with things that could brick my card, ah.
Mmm, I used that card for ages.. Have you run a scandisk on the card and made sure the formatting is right? Perhaps try running another game of the same size (or larger) and see if you have any issues. If you do, it is likely a formatting or corruption issue on the SD.

Ah! It seemed like I just needed to re-format the card. Game's working fine now! Thanks for the help, and sorry again for posting in the wrong thread!
Anyone interested in translating the NEW LovePlus and NEW LovePlus+ games for the 3DS? Seriously, we now have the tools to do so too. If I knew Japanese, I'd do it but

But would an english literate gamer buy the 3ds game kart? What if the translation never gets completed? He'd just have wasted his money.

the game scripts could also be exported from the game ROMs that are available,
if some programmer can start working on the patch then owners of the game(like myself) could test to see if the patch is running smoothly or if the translator is trustworthy, personally I'm more at ease with the idea that this is not pirating a game but simply adding an English patch.
I've posted information on various media so hopefully we'll form a team that can handle this project.
if anyone who is familiar with the programming it would take and thinks they can handle the pressure of putting the patch together we should create a new gbatemp thread and take it from there..

I don't know if it's possible; exporting a patch to a legit game cart (don't they have only readable memory?)

reading your messages I don't think you're experiencing bugs..
when you play in skip mode no matter what day it is when you leave the game it will always start from the date and day you are currently living IRL when you boot it right back..
also the game won't remember a date you scheduled in skip mode if you left the game before experience it..
as for unlocking the destinations there are some unlocking requirements needed first, you need to build up other destinations to a level by visiting the location by yourself and gaining familiarity with the dating spot, this wiki is for NLP but most of the locations and requirements are the same with the first games:

I downloaded the Chinese Patched LPP but I got the error code 4 when trying to the start the game using YSMenu (updated to the latest firmware) on my DSLite using original R4. Any suggestion on how to solve this? I've attached the error screen for reference.

If you have the original R4, you can try Wood R4 and it might work. (I can't guarantee since I don't play Chinese patched games.)
If you still need to use YSmenu:
Usually you'll need to tell the people who update YSMenu to specifically modify some files for you in order for it to work with a specific patch. Try this link and give them info about the Chinese patch and they might be able to update YSMenu for you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've been using YSmenu for all the roms. Guess will just have to wait for them to update it. I've already reported the issue. I've tried Wood R4 before, but well, let's just say it didn't worked out well for me. Haha!
