Sleep hack uses L+R+Select+Start to return to ez4 boot loader,after I updated my ez4 to 1.77 kernel, this function will make refresh the firmware each time if there is ez firmware bin in sd card. If I don't put the firmware into as card, the firmware just emptied, then no boot loader any more. Is there a solution for this?
I dont use sleep or reset hack, but afaik you can modify the button combo for the reset hack. Just make it not use the R button, as that is the button that initiates the firmware upgrade.
Alternatively, you might be pressing R too long. Try releasing the button immediately after the button combo.
You can change the button combination in the EZ4 Client, though you might have to edit the settings file manually. If you're using Kuwanger's or Dwedit's sleephack, you can change it in the sourcecode, then compile it, and apply the new sleephack to a clean ROM.
