"will what" still feels strange to me.
but maybe it's something I don't read often and I'm not used to that form.

Thanks for your comments about my other reports.
It also sounds weird to me, but I get what it's trying to emphasize.
Will what spread? sounds like grammar gone kaput.
What will spread? sounds like a normal question.
Will spread... WHAT will spread? perhaps works keeping the emphasis.
-> And also just capitalizing it: WHAT will spread? also works keeping the emphasis.
Or the grammar correct but probably out of character: What do you mean by "it"?

I don't know, but "will what spread?" really doesn't sound like correct English.

Then that's fine. I guess I never met that form before.

I'm now at world 5. I didn't think about backing up my save after each world to share it like I did with bravely story, sorry if users wanted some save at specific point.
Monsters are getting stronger.

Another report:
- There's some about save points in the manual, but what does it say?
- I don't really know, but probably that they are important at certain times?
- I guess you'll when they're important when the time strikes
I guess you'll ....see? understand? know?
"know" is probably the best.

The order of the words affect what the focal point of the sentence is.
"Will what spread?" This sentence is asking what it is that will spread. The focus is on the "what".
"What will spread?" This sentence is asking if [what] will spread. The focus is on the "will". The phrasing isn't correct considering that it's supposed to be asking what it is that will be spreading.

For some reason now I want to go eat some toasts with my breakfast.
The question would be what will I spread over those, considering my fridge is empty as if yesterday was Sunday and I forgot to go to the supermarket the day before.

I still feel : "what" is it that "will spread?" is the best order.

an example:
is what burning? (is it burning? asking if the object named "what" is burning)
or
what is burning? (what is burning? asking which object from many possible other object is burning)

"what is burning" is asking "what it is that is actually burning?" (asking which object), not if "what" is currently burning or not. it would be "is what burning?" to ask if "what" is burning.

Here it's not asking if "what" (whatever "what" is) will spread in the future, "will what spread?"
but asking "what is it that will be spreading" (what will spread?)

Here, they are talking about the marks on the girl's arm.
A- do you think "it" will spread?
B- what (asking what the previous person mean by "it") will spread?
A- the markings on her arms! (answering what "it" is in his first question)

it's not
A- do you think the mark will spread? (asking if the marks will become bigger)
B- will the mark spread? (asking if the mark will become bigger... again ?)
C- the markings on her arms ! (answering the object of the question, not answering "yes it will become bigger")

based on the last reply, you can understand that it's replying to "what will spread ? --> the marks" and not "will the mark spread ? --> yes it will"

yeah, that's fine.
few people already said it was proper english.

I hope the other thing I reported were useful :)
but feel free to not change anything if you think I'm wrong, I said it on my first report, I may be wrong because english is not my first language.
thank you again for all your work. I enjoy playing that game.
I'm now at world 5.

Edit:
Another report :)

-what's going to happen?
- Yeah, what's going to happen?
- You shoudl be able to figure that out just by using your eyes
Shoudl

• they are often refering to "magic girl" and the way she could (and she can) transform. This is a japanese reference to anime type "Magical girl".
I understand that you decided to translate it "magic" instead of "magical" in case you wanted to make it feel more localized than translated. non japanese might not know what a magical girl is, but all the "transform" dialog is also a reference to japanese manga/anime type so someone who doesn't know the culture might still not understand what they are talking about anyway. Also, most players who will apply this patch will be fan of japanese games/cultures/anime and will understand what a magical girl is.
But if you probably decided to go with Magic Girl instead or on purpose (length issue, etc.)

• I think there's a wrong word in the Magic stone text (where the girl get the transform rune). when you read it, there's a sentence with "a use". I don't know if it really should be "a", maybe I didn't understand the sentence. like you said previously, it's not my native language :P (sorry I didn't write that sentence down, I'll go back to it if you want. I'm currently going allll way down again to seek missed or respawn monsters)

• they are always referring to "the valley" but to me it looks like it's more a gulf, chasm, abyss, pit.
a valley is more a way between two hills/mountains. here it's not a road but a hole they are climbing so it's more like a pit.
again, it's probably a choice you made, and it would be hard to change all references without playing it fully another time.

• conversation
- Do you guys think she'll be able to make her dream come true?
- (omitted the next sentences, not needed here)
Not sure if it miss a "S" either at dreams or at comes.
dream comes true, or dreams come true.
maybe it's future sense, so it's fine. hey, I still have bad english habits, sorry :P

•conversation
between world7 and 8
Girl : the smell of the grass is sufficating
I think there's a spelling mistake, even if it looks like sufficating exists, but it might be a familiar or slang word. (meaning suffisant? enough of the same ?)
I guess it's supposed to be suffocating instead.

• Monster attack description :
Lights up and gain attack for every hit it takes
by looking at his action, the monster is not lighting candles when it get damaged, but after every turns (even after other monster turns, it lights up)
I think a better description would be "after every turn" or "on each turn"

• Girl (attention spoiler)
Now I have the world is in the palm of my hand
"I have the world is", something doesn't seems right

• End game:
The very last 3 sentences by the other players are not correct english, nor Japanese.
I wasn't sure it was on purpose or not, some letters are colored ... Krugepange?

When I patch the game file I get the message. xdelta3:source file too short: XD3_INVALID_INPUT.
But I can still run the patched game and it seems to be translated in English with no issues.

Could you have trimmed your ROM? It sounds like it decided to go ahead because it found the correct addresses, but the file itself seemed to be truncated to it. If the ROM is trimmed it would indeed seem to be too small while still having all the actual data.

The conversion from CIA to 3DS is very... unreliable at best... You need to find an original .3DS that matches the one the patch was built on, then convert THAT to CIA after patching if you want one. As always with patching, such patches aren't designed to work on things that are different from the original that the patch creator used.

I'm still playing it little by little every day.
I think I'm at the last level (world 10/57%) with 60H.
I killed 100% of enemies I encountered in all worlds and stayed long enough in all of them to see lot of conversations. everything is fine.
I'm almost at the end.

I'm curious, maybe I should try to die to meet that "death tree" again after killing some roots.
Will do that for fun.

I can't help but to notice that that was a search. If you don't like one search result, isn't it theoretically possible to keep searching for a different one? Just a thought anyway. Pay it no heed.

@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
