usb loader gx is just cut and paste as well

paste the wii game in /wbfs/gamename/xxxx.wbfs and it appears in usb loader gx

The developer of usb loader gx also worked on Nintendont for a small bit.
well it doesnt use that config by default if i remenber correctly i used wbfs/gameid.wbfs

That never worked for me, I always had to format it to WBFS and put the game on there. And then, that sometimes didn't even work.

I want to play GC games with the GamePad so bad. I hate having to use a CCP while playing on the Game pad screen. After playing DK64 with the GamePad, going back is quite difficult.

I'm still getting the meta.xml corruption issue when I exit games. It seems to only happen when I've been playing for over an hour or so. Maybe my HDD is shutting down? I run my homebrew software and store my ISOs on the same USB HDD, so that might be causing it.

Just tested this for the first time today and it's so much easier than USB Loader GX and shit. None of this WBFS formatting... Just paste the game and go! Also, a quick suggestion, for noobs who forget to rename it to game.iso, you should make it search for *.iso instead of just that specific filename

Ah, good times...
1. ULGX is a loader for wii games, not GC. GC games launched from ULGX still use Nintendont/Devolution etc. so in case of GC games ULGX is only a front-end. You're comparing uncomparable things
2. Wbfs formatting? Don't tell me you formatted your drive in wbfs. That's a very old procedure to run wii backups, not used anymore.

played RE4 fully and everything works, make sure your not using forced stuff since i only got one crash and it was on that boss battle where the soldier guy (forgot the name) becuase i was forcing widescreen.
Hmm, just happened again in a different spot. Nothing is forced, all default settings. Guess I need to check the iso :/

Like I said, nothing else worked. This saved me, so don't worry about the past.

So you start Nintendont from HBC and select your games from the text list? How many games you have? Just a few?
You prefer a text gui over coverflow?
Thousands if not millions of users have been using ULGX with FAT32 partitions without any problem so it must be something on your side.
Is your softmod up to date?

Well, if you like to live in the past, that is your choice and don't complain. Else you you should ask for help in the ULGX thread.

Scratch that; I put a fresh copy of Nintendont on my drive, and loaded up MegaMan X Collection as a test. Booted up to the main menu just fine, but when I exited the game with the Home Button on the CCP, Nintendont crashed. Loading up Nintendont again gives me a "Failed to load kernel" error. Meta.xml file is bad again.

I was having this issue a few months back, but it stopped for awhile. No clue why it just started up again. I guess I'll move my Nintendont app files to an SD and see if they fixes the issue. I really wanted to boot everything off of one USB HDD.

are you using an ps3/ps4 controller?

check the iso md5 is always the first thing to do, also maybe the device your using to load the game too, some slow flashdrives have issues with multidisc games. Also mem card size is a big deal if your using one of those 16mb mcemus that isnt healthy too.

.
Nope. CCP=Classic Controller Pro

I had the same issue with my PS4 controller though. Posted in this thread about it awhile back.
Running nintendont off of an SD card instead of my USB HDD seems to have alleviated the issue, for now.

check to see if the isos are on the correct path and named correctly

USB/SD:games/anyname/game.iso

remenber one folder of each iso no multiple game isos on the same folder.

yeah its called go to your SD card/usb and rename them or delete them lol.
That's fast, I feel like you're always on, do you not go to bed or work? ^^;

Well I thought about this, I even suggested it to be a feature in GX and asked Cyan about it, he told me while it's possible he has faith Nintendont will more than likely do it eventually which is more safe, anyway I only want SOME certain games to not view the bios screen due to certain issues but the majority of games I want them to keep it so it's not really ideal for me to keep renaming them or moving them around :P

I know, I tried that. Still, had nothing at all appear. Just sorta hangs at "Loading, please wait:, then only has an option to boot disc in disc drive. I tried everything, still no luck.
Should I format my SD and try again?

are you using a loader or nintendont directly from the homebrew channel?
