Yes you only need a "CFW" that patches the sig. checks, like rxtools or pasta, and savedatafiler. You open it and go to the third tab (SD) and if you have my files on the right place (sdcard\filer\) there will be an entry that is "user:20150820020221:00000307", select it and L+A with the MK cartdrige on the console and it'll transfer it

Hello GBATEMP Community

This tutorial will show you how to unlock everything in Mario Kart 7 (beside the Golden Steering Wheel) and give you 10,000 VR by simple opening you web browser. So lets get started.

What you'll need:

Mario Kart 7

Code.bin <-- (10,000 VR) Ideal for online usage

Code.bin <-- (99,999 VR)

Directions

Step 1: Computer

Chose one of the code.bin and downloaded

Copy Code.bin to the root of the 3DS SD Card.

Step 2: 3DS

Put the SD Card back into the 3DS and turn it on

Start Mario Kart 7 and press the home button (DO NOT CLOSE THE GAME)

Open the web browser and type the following URL --> go.albertosonic.com or http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/rop/?LoadCode.dat

Your screen will flicker then the browser will close and give you an error code

Close the error code and go back to Mario Kart 7

Wait 60 sec for the data to load and test it out

Once you unlock everything close the game and save it so everything stays unlock

PS: You might need to run the exploit more than once to get it to work. I had to run it twice before I got it to work.

Any way to have this working on ninjahax2.x at all? Nothing fancy like a CFW or anything like that

You don't need either, this uses Spider, hence the "spider exploit" in the thread title.
Spider works on v2.0 to v9.5.0-22 (but not v9.5.0-23+).
I may be wrong though.

So any user above 9.6 can't use it...

Hey I just registered to warn you, DO NOT TRY TO EDIT YOUR SAVE with Mario Kart unless you know your method works 100%

I attempted to do this with tubehax, I backed up my savefile first of course and then tried to replace it, the replacement did not work and Mario Kart wiped out everything I had instead.

Now since I backed everything up I was calm, after re-importing the original savefiles, it seems mariokart refuses to take even my original save and Im left and forced to start with nothing all over again. Hope this helped.

Woah registered to warn me? Well, thanks a lot.
I think I know what happened, did you use save data manager by chance? That one messes with your secure value, that's why you couldn't back it up and restore it. I use svdt to avoid that issue, that's why I'm going to back up and try the save @Gil_PL posted.

yeah, Mario Kart 7 is a bit tricky. Each time you got something unlocked or stats changed MK7 will change the name of savegame.
If you backup save1 and save2 do not start MK7. Chances are high MK7 will rename savegames. But there is a little trick to avoid. just edit your save and copy this file to save0-save9.
This way MK7 will pickup the right one. Or use svdt. this will show you the filename on card. So you cansee what the right filename will be.

What exactly is in the code.bin that NOA was able to claim copyright on?
Who reported it anyway :/

Isn't a code.bin just open source software that modifies the RAM on the 3DS.
If it contains no proprietary Nintendo code, how did they claim copyright?

None of it is working!
I have Nintendo 2DS @ 7.1.0-14U
and Mario Kart 7 (Cartridge) [Version 1.1]
+ Spider3DSTools [Compiled!] on root of SD and the code.bin for the 10,000 VR one cos other downloads are removed [fix pls]

I launch the game and then press home and run bowserhack @ go.albertosonic.com.. WebBrowser Crashes and then I return to the game to see that....

Nothing Happened, please help!
