Hi people, I have a Wired Black (Slim) Xbox 360 Controller and I have one "problem" with it.
The "problem" is with LT Trigger, I don´t know how to explain it but it has like spaces in it on left and right and the Trigger it´s easily moving from left to right and vice versa.
I hope you know what I´m talking about I don´t know how to explain it better.
I have this thing on every Xbox 360 controller I have, including like 4 white wireless ones, this mine I´m talking about and another Wired Black (Slim) one that have this on both of the Triggers.
I´m writing "problem" and not normally problem because I don´t know if it is even a problem because as I said I have this on my all Xbox 360 Controllers so it looks like that this has like 99% of the 360 controllers.
So I´m asking if you have this as well and it is normal or that it is really a problem, and if it is a problem how can I fix it ? Of course by myself.
Hope you get what I mean and thank you for answer :)

Yes, the Trigger is working without problems, it doesn´t sticking or something, only this thing as I said.
I guess that it is only a bit worn but I wanted to be sure.
BTW Do you have this on one of your controllers as well ? I guess yes right ? :D because I think these triggers are wearing out like that really fast because as I said I have this on all of my 360 controllers.
Thanks for answer :)

*eye twitches uncontrollably* No, just no *quick eye twitch*.

Anyways back on topic, even brand new controllers have this "problem" I bought one not so long ago brand new sealed and it's exactly as you described. That's just the way they decided to make them and there's little you can do about it.

The 360 controller is very straight forward in opening up & assembling it back together. Only bit tricky part for me is having the D-Pad perfectly centered.
Doesn't mean you should open it, just to keep in mind on future repairs 'n stuff

I know what you mean with that word :D I found out it right now - LT by itself is Left Trigger so I write Left Trigger Trigger right ? :D
Anyway, I thought that even brand new controllers have this as well but I want to be sure.
Thanks for answer :)

Yep, problem consist between all controllers I own.
They still work, even the controller I use for speedrunning.

Yeah, I have this on all of my controllers as well as I said before, so it looks like they have this on all of the 360 controllers, also on brand new controllers as _v3 says.
So it is absolutely normal. And even if some brand new controller doesn´t have this, it´s going to have it after some time of playing.
Thanks for answer :)
BTW About that controller you use for speedrunning, you speedrunning Xbox 360 games or old games on emulators via 360 controller ?

I know, I opened up 360 controllers several times but thanks anyway :) and I´m not going to open it now because it´s absolutely normal as you can see and there is nothing to do about it because of this.
Thanks for answer :)
