Just wanna say that you and everyone who works on these projects are sooooooo super great! tokimeki and storm lover are such fun games, wish the rest of the storm lover games were in english but, it is a huge undertaking to translate a game, so it is understandable that a person would get tired. Hello... Um. I feel really awkward asking this but... I'm having problems loading the game? It works perfectly fine until I have to save/load. I don't know if it's the emulator I'm using or the ISO I have but whenever I want to start back up from where I left off it says I never saved so I have to start all over again. Am I doing something wrong? I don't know if anyone here can help me but any advice would be really helpful. Thank you.
It's okay to ask for help here, but please provide more information.
- Which emulator you're using? Which version?
- What are you using to play the game (PC, Notebook, cellphone, etc.)? What is the operation system? (Windows or MacOS, etc.)
- Did you use the emulator's default settings?
- Did the problem occur when you play the clean ISO of the same game or did it also occur with other games?
- Did you have problem when you save/load though the game (Pressing start button and save/load) or the emulator's savestates?
This video at 2.10 min shows you how you're supposed to save the game;
You can try to download the latest version of the emulator and keep its default settings, and then try again to see if you still have the same problem.
You can also try to play different games and see if you still have the problem. (If this is the case, you can check the emulator developer's website or forum. This is the emulator problem, not the patch.)

Did you unzip the PPSSPP program before you run it? The current version is 1.01 but that shouldn't make much different to these games.
Anyway, to be sure, try downloading the latest version (1.01) from http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html
- Scroll to the "PPSSPP for Windows" and click the link that says "Download 1.01.zip".
(If you have external hard drive or thumb drive, etc. Try to download it to your physical hard drive (ex. Drive C instead.)
- Once the download is done, unzip the fie ppsspp_win101.zip. (Right-click and Extract.)
- Run PPSSPPWindows.exe that you should get in the folder you just unzipped.
- Open your game, play for a while, save game (Through the game's save method as shown in the video in my previous post.)
- Then try to load game using the same method as above but instead of Save, use Load.
At this point, if you open your ppsspp folder, try to browse through memstick and then PSP subfolders. There should be a folder named "SAVEDATA" in there. In that folder, there should be "ULJS00504LOVEST_KAI_SP_DATA" folder which stores your save data.
I'm not sure if you might need to run the program as administrator on your computer in order to be able to save. But if the above method still doesn't work, you can try as administrator. (Right-click PPSSPPWindows.exe, and select "Run as...")

@jjjewel I found a mistranslation/bug. On Mio's route, when I got to his first birthday I chose the expensive gift. The audio says Camera, but the text mentions supplements. The conversation that follows concludes with him saying he'll brush up on his photography and that "One day I want to take pictures with this CAMERA"

Hi! This is kinda off-topic but I would want to ask about how to rip songs to on this game because I want to make their message alert tone to be my notifications ringtone
I've never paid attention to how to rip songs or sprites from games, so I don't know. T_T
It might be faster to find the song on YouTube or something and rip the audio from there.
If it's the OP/ED songs, the files in the game are in .pmf format. I think there are programs that allow you to rip audio from pmf files too but I've never tried.
That's not a mistranslation but my adaption to the Japanese pun. In the original Japanese, he'd say "ずっとラーメンにいてくれますか?" which doesn't make sense in Japanese and then he changed ramen to udon, and finally soba. The correct sentence he wanted to say is ずっとそばにいてくれますか? which means "Can you always stay by my side?" (Soba can mean soba (the noodles) or near.) I couldn't think of a way to translate those lines to English so I came up with a new pun which used pear and pair instead.
P.S. It took me a long time to come up with this pun. LOL. This is one reason why I don't want to work on the sequels. General conversations in the game were super easy to translate but the puns could kill me.

Even though I said I might release an updated patch around the end of September, I think I won't have time to work on it. So, I'll postpone it to maybe end of October or maybe end of year instead. So please post any errors you find and I'll fix them in the updated patch.
Please keep in mind that most puns, especially in the baka-couple mode, can be totally different from the original Japanese puns, as I had to adapt them into English. But if there are parts you doubt that they might be mistranslated, feel free to post them. If they are puns, I'll explain to you.

I was wondering if anyone had heard of possible translations of 2nd by any other groups? It really sucks they won't be releasing an english localization when they remake it for the vita But, maybe making it for vita will interest some people in translating it ~_~ here's holding out hope~
