Quick question, will this let me play monster hunter online? Is there a fw spoof built into the cfw?

The 3DS' firmware doesn't matter for playing online, only the game needs to be up to date.
You can either install updates as .cia or use FreeMultiPatcher to access the e-shop to download them.

Are you able to verify that this version of reinand in the rar will allow me to use homemenuhax to cold boot directly to my GW created emuNAND please ?

Also, a quick question, i noticed there is a launcher.dat file in the archive, does this replace the gateway one already on my card ? I ask for the specific reason as the launcher.dat in the archive is from August and now there is version 3.41 (hope i am making sense)

Thank you in advance

I haven't used Home/Themehax at all myself yet, so i'm unable to verify that it'll work.
I know there was a file uploaded to the Source Reinand thread fairly recently (Likely within the last 4 pages). I Believe that file was made for Home/Themehax.
By default you'll still get the splash screen (Start to enter emunand), but there should be file(s) floating around now that have disabled that. Either in the Source thread or on Reisyukakus github.

Yes the Launcher.dat is Gateways file, you can use the one provided (I believe it's 1 release old now) or yours. Both will function the same, since you'll only be using it to boot into the menu & backup your Nand / create Emunand.

I can verify that this version of reinand from this guide does work with the homemenuhax to cold boot directly to your GW created emuNAND.

I was a Gateway FlashCart user but not anymore.

I used this guide http://gbatemp.net/threads/rxtools-...enuhax-to-rxtools.398420/page-13#post-5714324 to install the homemenuhax for reinand so I dont have to use the profile exploit.

anyone point me to a reinand boot file that doesn't require "press start" to use with themehax?

I'm on n3ds xl
I second this, if it exists. Myself personally, is there a way to launch it from a DSTWO flashcart? I tend to use it a lot and having to redo the MSET ROP hack can get annoying. Plus it means having to carry around an extra cartridge.

I built a crude libkhax variant of Reinand's launcher (I basically took the latest commit of CakeBrah as of this post and modified it ever so slightly to load ReiNand.dat/ReiNand-sysnand.dat), and also rebuilt the dat file so it auto boots to emuNAND or sysNAND (use the appropriate zip). The emunand one will look for reinand.dat, and the sysnand one will look for reinand-sysnand.dat. The only difference is that sysNAND will..well, boot into sysNAND (if you're using an autoboot for themehax, make sure to hold a button after launching it so it doesn't get in a 'reboot loop' of sorts). Use these with either the homebrew launcher, or that new ctrbootmanager (I didn't have any luck at all with b5, but b2 seems to boot 100% for me on N3DS; your results may vary though). I also included all of the source code.

I probably could've checked for B being held to boot sysNAND without the splash screen/start, but meh, I got lazy and just decided to make two separate builds.

Usual disclaimer applies: I'm not responsible if you brick your sysnand or emunand doing silly things, and if you want to compile either build, you have to supply your own firmware.bin.

Edit 2: Put it back up, user error on my end, wasn't a bug.

I'm not sure if there's an all in one no splashcreen floating around.

You cannot launch cfw from your NDS flashcart, using Themehax with autoboot will allow you to bypass needing the ROP installed though.

that worked... only thing is i'm booting into reinand by pressing L.... anyway to have it boot into emunand without pressing L?
Any advice on how to install this? It requires three different sets of files in total, most of which overwrite the files I already have on the root of my microSD. I don't want to screw this up now that I have emuNAND running.

So i had an idea, i got into normal sysNAND (holding down L button on boot) and put my original CN cartridge in which still has the GW save on it, so i loaded the GW menu and inserted my red card, held down B then A to enter GW Sysnand mode but after a couple of seconds all i got was a red screen :(

I dont think there is a way for me to install devmenu.cia into sysnand now without changing everything i already did to make it autoboot to reinands emunand

Some have suggested Pasta, but if i load homebrew launcher or other cfw i have to rename all the files i renamed for autoboot, agggggghhh

I think i must give up on having devmenu.cia in sysnand unless a genius comes up with a solution that does not involve homebrew launcher

Because of the way i am setup i cannot even use the webbrowser hack as that loads my emunand lol

Reinand has Sysnand mode if you hold down [ B ] at the splash screen as you press [Start].

Try launching Gateway Sysnand again by holding [ B ] > Press [A] at boot Emunand > [X] to confirm.

If you want to install a title manager to your emunan, just boot into Gateway Emunand as you normally would > Install the cia version with the .3ds version & it'll be there when you boot Reinand (They use the same Emunand)

The problem is i used an autobooter and modification provided here by a member to autoboot reinand that bypasses the splash screen and goes directly to emunand so no longer have the option to hold [ B ] > Press [A] at boot Emunand > [X] to confirm (to enter reinand sysnand mode)

For the 2nd suggestion, i already have a title manager loaded in the GW/Rei emunand, it was within the sysnand i was wanting to install the devmenu.cia, my nands are unlinked, also the way i used to enter GW mode is gone now (it was the ds profile which has been wiped by the reinand mset)

Thank you for the ideas all the same

If you're using the modified version of Reinand that i'm thinking of, it should have 2 version. One that auto boots to Rei-Sys & one for Rei-Emu.
B - A - X is for Gateway menu (Boot into Gateway Menu > Move to Launch Emunand > Hold [ B ] > Press [A] > Confirm with [X] *with Gateway Red cart inserted)
To launch the Gateway menu, just remove the auto boot files (Cut paste them to your Desktop) from your mSD.

At any time you can swap between the installed ROPs (Ability to boot Gateway or Reinand with Profile exploit) by using the NDS flashcart (ROPLoader for Gateway - rnInstaller for Reinand) or FBI (From the Red Flashcart in Gateway Sysnand - Homebrew menu - installed as .cia *Last option, you'd have to be in a form of Sysnand cfw already, so it defeats the purpose*.
If you already have a title manager installed on the Emunand, there's little to no reason to install it to Sysnand as well. Unless you just want it there, or plan on using your Sysnand for your E-shop account.
