There's already a handful of 3DS One Piece games. I think the go-to excuse will be graphics though.
According to Bandai, this will be the first One Piece game to make its way to the Xbox platform. Makes sense, Xbox has been shafted of One Piece for a long time, it'll probably help increase sales by a lot.
I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that One Piece now has an actually decent American following. 4Kidz ran the show's name through the mud but Funimation is making it popular over here. It helps that they use the same voice actors from Dragon Ball Z.

It does seem like it'll make a good fighting game. Strange that it doesn't show any crew members in the trailer.
One piece is one of my favorite Manga's ever, just for being so damn over the top. I don't even give a single shit if every story is the same, iiiiiiiiiii like it.

Unlimited world red was enough for me personally. If I get a ps4 I will be sure to borrow it after I beat final fantasy 15,kingdom hearts 3,until dawn,final fantasy xx/x-2,dragon quest heroes,monster hunter frontier,dragon quest x,final fantasy vii remake and in sire I'm forgetting more

As an Xbox one owner, I'll be sure to pick this one up. Not only as a newfound fan of the show, but also to hopefully show other Japanese developers that we'd like more games for the console other than FPSs, and some of the ones that weren't released to Western markets to eventually get released here. Like what Nintendo did with some Japan-only titles getting the Westernization treatment.
1v1 final destination no items no re, garbage artstyle, garbage anime. ;O;
On a serious note, it's nice to see it on the Xbox One, maybe the system will stop flatlining in Japan after an Otaku release like this.
