Homebrew Save Manager based on IronHax

This is a little project I started two days ago. It's not perfect. I know it has issues running under a few games, but it is a WIP. It can currently copy and write saves back to the cart. I don't have any digital games outside VC, so I'm not so sure about how it will work with those. The filesystem code is based off of ironhax's. It writes saves out to a folder on SD named "Saves." In there, you'll find folders named after the saves it finds. For example, the Pokemon games export to a folder named "main." I plan to add support for choosing export directories next, but I'm not sure how long it'll take.

the same screen glitch of the first save manager with SSB4 and don't do nothing i'll not say nothing negative about this because this is a alpha savemanager and i understood it but this save manager works great with Pokemon Rumble world great work

Are you using an original 3DS by any chance? It seems to be a problem with New 3DS enhanced games. Monster Hunter 4 does the same thing, but when I was testing on my New 3DS, it booted no problem. Still trying to figure out exactly what causes it. I've tried multiple ways and orders for loading, but I can't quite figure it out right now.

Yes i'm using o3ds

You can still backup/import the save even if the screen is all black/glitchy. I managed to do it with my digital SSB on my Old 3DS.

EDIT: I think I have an idea of what causes it. These games (at least SSB does, I've never played MH4) enter a state where the Old 3DS tries to minimize all sort of resources, for them to be able to run smoothly. When you start SSB, the screen goes black for around 20 seconds (which is A LOT), and you can only run Friend List and other minimal programs when you press Home. You can't run the web browser at the same time you're playing SSB, for example.

So if it takes around 20 seconds to load, maybe that's why it creates that black screen. I might be wrong, though.

i try but it don't work i think it just freeze later that boot the game also later that try with pokemon rumble world in my SD card appear the folder save and there was other folder called save_data with one archive with 0kb of size

Can't just export to say "Saves/GameName" and import from the same location? guess it must be harder to do then it seems.

Small update to fix something I overlooked. Also, in an attempt to figure out what exactly is causing the screen glitches, I added code to stop the filesystem from starting if you hold R. It didn't fix anything, but it is there. New version is attached to first post.

I get "Error getting file name" when I try to extract the .sav from an old MH4U file from my other 3ds.

Sorry guys. I was busy this weekend. I don't know how often I'll be able to pump updates out. Kinda busy. The only reason I started in the first place was because I had some car trouble and was pretty much stuck at home until this weekend. Still adding tweaks here and there, but with SVDT out, I'm not too worried/in a hurry.

I need some help I always get this problem when I try to put a file back in, for pokemon I can copy and even edit the file in pkhex but when I try to put the save back into the game even if I don't edit it I get this error and then it kicks me back the the homebrew launcher. I have no idea why it dose this?

Make sure the only files in the savegdataBackup folder are the files from the game you want to restore.

it worked, I fixed it by reinstalling all the files in to the sd card but now I know what the real problem was. when I try to copy animal crossing it creates more files in the folder and thats what was putting more files in the folder. but now this -_- putting my save back in if I just edit the pokemon in the boxes works but when I tryed to edit the play time (I wanted to see if I could edit more stuff now than the last web browser method) it gives me this =/ is there a way to fix this? http://prntscr.com/8e2ugl

actually I think I know what happened now, I edited the save to see if putting it back in worked and it did, after that I saved the game and without making another copy I just pkhex the last copy I already had and put that one back in so I'm guessing because I saved it that the game doesn't want an old save. so im kinda screwed now, that was my digital copy of x so I don't have any backups on my power save. Is there some kind of program that can fix up my savefile? another lesson learned I guess.
