It's fun(ny) to watch Big N and other related companies grow...

Not long ago Big N said, "NO, our games will not be discounted in price, we offer a fair value and charge a fair price with discounting the price...." (or some very similar words with the same meaning) but they eventually saw the light so to speak They also said We won't go digital only (sorry forgotten where the reference to this was..) now they offer much digital only. They said "We won't do play-for-pay type games, but now they're doing that too, although that could be finer tuned... there are more examples but you get the idea.... and maybe they're not all N....

On this last point; the P4P, when ever I see a compilation game such as the AA Trilogy I have to wonder/question whether this version has all the same 3-4 cases (per included title) or was a case or two trimmed here or there to sell at an extended price or as DL content. My reason is, not distrust but for calculating the real value in my head before purchase, and because I want to try them all...)

or should I just look for a card in a local store (assuming I don't have a -"digital copy" already)- The eshop and other ads never really state (emphatically) whether they do contain all the same games or not... I can ASS-U-Me but I'd rather not.... ANYWAYYYY Sorry if I've gone too far off topic...

FIN

P.S. I realize SOME detail within this 'wall-o-text' may or may NOT be "DIGITALLY accurate", give me a break I'm gettin' old here...

I wish that they will localize Dai Gyakuten Saiban first before this one. it will be a shame if they don't localize that because we will not see moe watson and a handsome sherlock. (just kidding) I'll just pray that dai gyakuten saiban will not be like gyakuten kenji 2 which is not localized in US

Booooring game any other awsome one!!
Explain me why is boring?, this is a VN for fuck's sake, with elements of mystery and parts of exploration, how can the game that has awesome trials, well written characters, enjoyable designs and graphics and overall an excellent experience be something boring?, like, dude this is a game where you have to read to understand, like a book with images and videos, but you don't see nothing boring in this game, you might ask why, simple, because you meet characters that has an interesting development, you meet characters that are human.

They aren't things that have superhuman teens in high school with signs of "I'm too awesome, and i kick ass", this is a game inspired (more or less) in part of the real life, with it's own gimmicks, is one of the few games in the whole market that tries to do something different instead of the usual FPS, the usual kick everyone's ass and the usual "Be deep but not too much", like man, this is a game where you have to read to understand it, where everything is so good designed and beautiful, where the dialogue is GOLD, like, if you were expecting all of the aforementioned examples above, you're going to be disappointed.

And overall, this is a game where you have to think, to use your neurons in order to solve cases, boring games are the ones where everything is repetitive, predictable and nothing satisfying at all, and this series is nothing like that, this game has awesome characters, unpredictable outcomes and is overall so damn satisfying pressing objection and knowing that you finally did it right, like, the 3DS has over 600 games, i repeat, OVER 600 GAMES, in both eshop and physical format, i mean, why are you complaining about a single game when you have all of the rest.

I mean, with that amount of variety, the less someone expect is complaining about receiving more titles, enjoy what you have, enjoy what you can afford, but don't complain about receiving more, because that contradicts the main example of a gamer wanting only the things he want, if you have played the games (Complete, nothing of case 1 and that's it) and you still find them boring, play something else until another game is announced, and if you haven't played the games (which i'm assuming because you didn't said it on your post) then don't say shit, until you have a really good argument against VN and overall good games.

If it becomes decently dubbed, or if it has an option to change the language to Japanese and add subtitles I'd be really glad.
Ace Attorney 5 was the most disappointing title in the series in my opinion, aside from it's terrible dubbing, it didn't have Maya nor Gumshoe,
the prosecutor, Blackhill, was boring, Athena Cykes was none better and the ending of last case was terrible. Overall, the game isn't bad, it just failed my expectation.

About been only digital, I don't mind at all. All my games are digital and I simply love it.
Having a way to carry all my games with me is fantastic and if it were for me, the new handhelds wouldn't even have physical games.

If it were up to me, I would leave an option for digital and physical games... like now and not needlessly cut my customer base who doesn't want to or can't go all digital.

Why couldn't a person go to digital?
If a person has the money to buy a new handheld, he certainly also has the money to pay for internet.
Cutting physical games would leave space to make the handheld more compact.
Digital is the way to go and Steam already proved that.

Steams has sales that others wouldn't have and on a stationary open system. Not everyone have good internet, rather they want/can or not pay for the internet. Not that you should have to rely on the internet just to buy and play a game. I don't why you are against choice. When services are temporarily and permanently down. Still have my games and I can still buy the games from the store.

Plus a handheld size is more reliant on battery and screen size anyway.

Some retail games are still tied to a digital service, therefore making the main point of retail to avoid having to download the data. Something which Konami needs to, apparently, figure out.

If you have the money to buy a new handheld you certainly have a decent internet,
at least enough good to download games without much hassle.
Also, consoles have download managers so even if your internet is troublesome you'll eventually download it.
By using only digital, a handheld would save space that could be used to make it thinner or improve it's battery.
Beside that, in the past getting physical games was really cool because it had amazing manuals, booklets and stuff with it.
Right now we only see few pages when we see it just because it's eco-friendly.
If it's to be eco-friendly why don't we just buy digital and become as eco-friendly as possible in this aspect?
Basically, I don't see the need of choice in this case and I think digital is better and the way to go.

Again, there are places with bad internet, doesn't matter if they have the money and again, they shouldn't have to rely on the Internet to get their game, especially with a handheld. Why wait for a download, when I can just pick it up from the store and play it without barely any problems? SD cards only get so big and price starts going high as well. Yes, there are updates, but you can play games without the updates and the data is much smaller. The game carts/cards only take up a small space. Not enough to make the device slimmer and not a good trade off for the small amount battery you may add. Some games still come with a collection edition and physical media is not just about the extra stuff. Besides, it is more the fact that manuals can be done by software now, since devices can hold more data. Yes "I", but you are cutting away a lot of people who says otherwise.

And yes, a physical media that only holds the code and not the actual game defeats the purpose.

It's not about a good paying job, it's about geographical location.

I live in a third world country, everybody that I know that has a 3DS/PSVita already has an internet enough good to download a game.
The fact that there are download managers on handhelds make the internet connection that you have not much relevant,
you'll eventually download the game. I already said this on my previous post.

Today an SD card of 32GB is dirty cheap, I have one, I use only digital, I have plenty of games and I still have not used it all.
Try comparing an SD from 10 years ago to one of nowadays. The SDs tend to get bigger and cheaper by the time.
Try looking at a 3DS motherboard, the card slot isn't that little, it occupies a relevant space and taking it out could certainly make it slimmer.
