I want to know, what makes the kernel edits not permanent?(why do you have to run the kernel exploit everytime you start the Wii U?)
It doesn't install to the console, it just modifies stuff already in RAM. RAM is always cleared whenever you power an electronic device off, so you have to re-apply the changes on reboot

Edit: HARDCORE NINJA-ING XD

I had a fair bit to drink last night and I was quite intoxicated! I'm sorry about offending anyone with my comments it was out of control now I am sober and have realised what I have said it was a tad wrong! I hope Mathew & xNintendo & officalfbomb and anyone else has not taken to much offence by it :grog::wacko:

Because the kernel is in RAM (and edited in RAM) and RAM is temporary storage for things.
Stupid me, I forgot about that.

I remember our computer teacher when he said: "When you make edits to RAM, aka Random Access Memory, those edits get deleted when you restart the system, because the RAM is a temporary storage, so the edits can't be permenent. ;)

So while is on is possible the use the temporary fixed number?

For example in Splatoon
Use 9999999 money to reroll gears?

Other example maximize money on smash to farm itens equipments with DK (D + A)

Yea, you can use TCP Gecko for 'cheat codes', but they're manually used. Not like GameShark or something. I'm assuming you know some things will be pointers. There is a thread in this forum section dedicated to codes found with TCP Gecko and other tools here.

Doesn't that game have 5.4 on it? I could be mistaken tho.

Yea, I even have the address for most versions. You could also edit your shells and make it even easier.

So XenoX and Devil's Third is better to wait for Kernel 5.5.0 if released?

Can installing these game update to next Firmware? (5.3.2 > 5.4.0) with no Ethernet?
yeah you can update console with disks too but like people said both those games might be 5.4.0 or even 5.5.0 im betting on 5.5.0 tough so yeah if you want to play them you will need to update.
