Secure Value? Do you mean you get an error when you try to select the save file? Did you back up your original save?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

The Pythonn one doesn't work, it just quickly opens and closes.
It's supposed to do that. Basically it just says "Patch Completed" or something along those lines.

But when I do that, nothing happens after I inject it back in.

Yep i have my original savedata.bin, but when i try to "import" the clean save with the Save Manager, the game keeps saying that the save data is corrupted. I don't know how to restore it :(

I am using 2.7, I drop the savedata.bin onto the file, and then I inject it with SaveManager, then when I load it up, it is exactly the same again.

Um. Hm. I'm not entirely sure. Maybe try deleting the savedata.bin in the saveManager folder and then replace it with your original.
If that doesn't work, try exporting the corrupted one and applying the steps. If you followed the steps carefully, it should work.
Try that and let me know :)

When you drop the saveData.bin onto the PokemonShuffle.py file, does a CMD window pop up then disappear right away? Because if so, it should work.

It still doesn't work. Is there any way that someone can visually show me what to do? Or how to use the Windows one?

Is there any file other than savedata.bin in saveDataBackup folder? If yes, after importing the edited savedata won't apply to the current state, and you keep playing your game > the game has saved with some new values. If you did import the edited savedata again, the savedata in game will be corrupted due to unmatched secure value between the two.

I guess this just won't work for me. I ensured I was using the right Python, I ensured everything was up to date. I did everything step by step with IronHax and the Save Manager, but there are no changes in Shuffle.

Try to edit it manually. Replace the byte at 0x2d4b and set it to 0x31, this will give you 98/99 lives.

Indeed, I would not use the Python script. Setting everything to 0xff it's a bad idea, you may be killing some important bits or glitching the savegame.

Hm, I've already used the script. Is there any way to reverse it?

If you use the script that I attached, it'll technically reverse it because it's not using overflow values.

My way of doing it on Windows 10 was

Backup save data with save manager -> Use ftBRONY to transfer save to PC quickly - > Open a cmd window in the same place as the python script and your save file and type pokemon_shuffle_save_patcher.py savedata.bin -> transfer back and import it, job done.

I sent you a private message.

Did you make a CLEAN backup of your save file? If you did, you can just use that.

I did, but it's been a day already and I'm not sure I can restore it, I keep hearing about secure values and corrupted saves, as much as possible I'd like to minimize the risk of data corruption.

Have you tried to restore it though? To avoid any damage, just make a second backup of the original backup and use the second backup to try to restore your save file.
