nes vc runs way faster than this emulator on o3ds. When will it be faster or is there a way to make it faster?
It's not being worked on anymore.

Anyway, the unofficial build is great! I get full speed on some games like Final Fantasy I&II (the compilation) on my o3DS XL. The only issues are that FDS games generally run slower than NES games, and the disk flipping doesn't eject and reinsert the disk image. That makes FDS games like Zelda unplayable (You can't get past the title screen). That said, until something tops it in speed, it's perfectly usable. :yaynds:

yeah, i can play zelda but it lags, and smb lags a lot too i feel vc tops fceumm3ds because it was written for 3ds instead of just ported but fceumm is a great nes emulator

Wow. I finally bought a New 3DS today - was lucky enough to find one with 8.1 so I installed 9.5 EmuNAND. Wow, this runs PERFECT on a New 3DS, miles better than on my Original 3DS! So impressed!
That's great! N3DS is a lot faster than O3DS, and it's really hard to find one with 9.2 or lower.

Really, the only thing I'm getting out of this topic is "The emulator doesn't run at full speed on the O3DS, but wow, it runs perfectly on N3DS!" "Good enough for me." *EMULATOR ABANDONED*

Is there a working .cia version of the latest build? I'd love to have this on my main screen in the folder with the rest of my emulators, without having to launch Ninjhax again to access it.

I bought it fully expecting it to have 9.9 or at least something above 9.2 - I was so delighted when I got home and found it was still on 8.1!

It's interesting, actually. Tsutaya (a major entertainment retailer in Japan) had absolutely LOADS of supposedly 'used' New 3DS LL consoles. None of them actually looked used though. It wouldn't surprise me if Tsutaya have a tonne of unsold stock that they're trying to clear out as used, hence having 8.1. I suggest anybody in Japan hoping to find an 8.1 console check out Tsutaya and try their luck.

I didn't abandon it because I thought it was good enough on N3DS, it's just sort of a crappy port, and with school and what not starting back up, I have other things I need to put my time into.

So, we want a good nes emulator with perfect framerate for o3ds as well. can we port NesDS to 3ds? thanks because fceumm3ds is dead. or can we improve it without steveice10? ill prefer trying to port nesds if thats possible
