when i have a dlc theme or not its the same.

@Rinnegatamante: thank you for this easy-to-use software, especially version 1.5 is a real improvement.
  • It would be very, very nice for (hopefully) upcoming updates if you can integrate advanced folder options, such as sdmc:/Themes/CustomThemes/xx - sdmc:/Themes/OfficialThemes/xx - sdmc:/Themes/NSFW/xx etc.
  • And a direct-delete-option for single themes within the CHMMM ui would be.. fantastic.
Again, thank you for your work

I'm having issues applying custom themes, when I apply them I get an error saying Error: [string "?"]:error writing f. and when I go back to my home menu, only the theme was applied and not the BGM. I've tried using different themes and using a stock theme before loading on a custom theme but the same thing always happens. I'm using a US 2DS on ver.9.9.0-26U

[Edit] I decided to test more than one theme, it seems that it varies on the theme. So far only one of my themes properly works, while the others display errors.

The BGM file (bgm.bcstm) is probably too large. The limit is about 3.2mb. What's the exact size of it?

This seems good but the problem is that it doesn't want to show on the hombrew channel at all :(" Which sucks because this might actually be good for my white screen doom error problem ; n ;
The .3dsx and folder name to be the same name. For example, /3ds/CHMM/CHMM.3dsx

I never actually considered checking, the theme I'm still having issues with has a BGM file of 3.7MB. Maybe thats why xD, I'll be sure to check all of my themes before I reply again.

[Edit] I checked all of my other themes and the only other problematic theme has a BGM file of 3.3MB. Guess I just have to find a way to get some replacement songs on a Chromebook xD

Yes, exactly.
Which method are you opening the homebrew launcher? Depending on that, you may need to place the Themes folder in a different location.

Ninjhax 1.x users:

Theme files: sdmc:/3DS/CHMM/Themes/MyThemeName/
Image Previews: sdmc:/3DS/CHMM/Themes/MyThemeName/preview.png
BGM Previews: sdmc:/3DS/CHMM/Themes/MyThemeName/BGM.ogg
------------------
GW / Ninjhax 2.x / IronHax / TubeHax users:

Theme files: sdmc:/Themes/MyThemeName/
Previews: sdmc:/Themes/MyThemeName/preview.png
BGM Previews: sdmc:/Themes/MyThemeName/BGM.ogg

Could you show me the theme you're trying to use, or see if you can use another one?
I have all 4 of these in the themes folder on the root on my SD.
The other screen shot is of the metroid theme.

Forgot the other SS.

I'm not sure what's going on at this point. My only suggestions would be to try re-downloading and replacing CHMM. If that doesn't work, try a new boot.3dsx.

Oh so it's like for the boot file name its boot.3dsx and the folder name is to be the same like '3dsx' that's all? Cause I changed the '3ds' folder file name to '3dsx' and the 'CHMM' folder file name to be 'CHMM.3dsx' is that alright?

CHMM is installed, "Themes" folder on root of card not in 3ds or 3ds/CHMM, structure is Themes/Majoras_Mask/ but it shows up as having no themes at all
