I know this is old as heck now but I have all 10 rock band 3 dlc wads but for some reason alot of the newer stuff wont show up as purchased I believe its about anything 2012 and newer. I have no idea why it isnt working I've tried a few things such as reinstalling it uninstalling twice and again ive used different wad loaders and the works but nothings worked yet.

Any help would appreciated.

Those 10 dlc wad files only went up to a certain date, so no you won't get the newer stuff using them no matter what you try. There is however a way to acquire everything, but I can't remember what it is, nor do I have any links explaining it
Google is probably your friend for that (unless there's somebody else on here that knows of course!), but I do know if you're wanting the newer releases, those wads aren't your friend.

ok then I guess i got my info wrong on the dates for those wads thought they were up to date considering the game hasnt gotten an update in like 3 years.

The place i got it said it was updated on like august 2013. I've been googling and I havent been finding anything else besides that 10th wad as far as info for the newer stuff.

You can't do it via wad files, and it's gonna take some work, but after a quick google myself I found THIS, which looks familiar (I remember spending a few moments looking at it before deciding not to bother a couple of years back, just not THAT interested in RB!)
You're gonna need an emunand setup for a start, and a huge amount of time for downloading (I'll guess that IF the links aren't dead they're not gonna be fast in the first place)
Of course if anyone wants to prove me wrong with another option (or at least vouch that this method still works) then go ahead - might even have a do myself, still got 2 Wii guitars (and drums) knocking about somewhere! :D

oh I know about this I almost got one working earlier this is for custom DLC not the actual games DLC for adding your own songs and charts that people have created.

It's also for the dlc, and the only way to get the more recent ones. Again, I could be mistaken, maybe there was a wad release recently, but I'd probably have found out about it. The fact no one else has posted (or pulled me up on the matter) seems to prove I'm right unfortunately...

Phones worked great for DS emulation with DraStic and a controller that held your phone

Yeah it works great but it's the obvious Ds factor you loose from it it's not like playing atari games on atari because Nintendo actually use to give a reason to buy their hardware

I just like game consoles how they were intended to play if they have a unique enough reason to buy them anything else yeah just download emulation for it

I used a vertical touch 22" monitor for playing some 3DS games through Citra.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Can't be that far off from it not like ds requires super hardware
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
@K3Nv2 I did that using Citra for 3DS games. Bottom screen was my smartphone. Until I got the touch screen.
  • SwordShielder @ SwordShielder:
    Use a TV
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Citra allows it already?
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
    Yes.

Ken I have that sort of set up on Drastic on Pi for games that don't require touch

    Looks nice too
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
Any TV with your PC connected with Citra and any smartphone to use as a screen using a free play store app.
