Are you using windows 8?? Mine used to crash too, but after I went back to 7 it was fine.

I'm using windows 10, it started to happen last week, it didn't happen before (even on windows 10)
I had this same exact problem. Set the compatibility mode to Windows 7 (Windows 8 should work too) on project64.exe. That solved it for me. Found that solution on Google.

For me the BSOD was in win32kfull.sys which is apparently the driver that handles fullscreen mode. BSODs didn't occur in window mode but as soon as I tried to go fullscreen it would BSOD. Just a simple compatibility issue.

My problem is in window mode.
BTW, Where can I change compatibility mode?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

BTW, it is PJ64 V2.1.0.1

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

:) Fixed it by switching to jabo 1.6 plugins (still, how do you change compatibility modes)

2.2 is out right now, but anyway....

Open Explorer and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Project64 2.1 (if "Program Files (x86)" doesn't exist, go to just "Program Files"). Right click Project64.exe, go to the compatibility tab, check "Run this compatibility mode for", and choose Windows 7.
