Hi, sorry but I am in the same boat that the TC was in earlier this week. I am having a problem and I know it is the Ios36 that I need to replace. I just can't seem to find it anymore (to download). I know how to install it and everything (with IOS236 installer) but I just need the vwii version of IOS36.

Thank you everyone!! This thread helped fix my problem! I think something like this needs to be stickied because it seems A LOT of people are having problems with this IOS36.
Sorry but I'm having the exact same problem that justin is having. Long story short, I either deleted or put a regular wii ios36 on my vwii and I would very much appreciate if you would pm me a vwii ios36 too. Thank you very much!
I'll probably need that file as well. I'm running into the same problem.
I installed the homebrew channel on the vwii like 6 months ago. I never ran into any problems until a few weeks ago, and now I get that error when trying to update the system or any game. When I run syscheck - it errors out and gives me a screen of hex values - I'll try again tomorrow and post a screenshot or something.

The first time I tried launching the app, it instantly came up with an error with a red 'X' that said something like 'failed to load IOS36', then the app closed itself.
I edited the xml file and told it to skip 36. The next time it booted fine and I told it to scan everything (except 36, which it skipped). Here's the report.
