Network updates include stuff like the internet browser, Miiverse, Nintendo Network services etc. You need the web browser update, but cartridges don't have that.
According to this article-> http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Spider_exploit the browser between 7.1 and 9.2 were the same
(At least, that's what I think it says- correct me if I'm wrong, I'm relatively new to all this)
edit: previous owner must have updated to 8.x through cartridge as the browser version is at 1.7455 :c

Hey NeoKamek, I have a problem with your Building Seeder.
And although I would like the Dream Suit door build in a city which I have on my offline cardridge. I do not quite understand how it works. Since that time I occupied myself with the text in 2 Items cheat ACWW and ACCF but... i'm not so good at this stuff.
I know that the hex value only from 0 - 9 and A - F works.
I have tried several things:
- Specified hex ID as bells slot 1. 8,000 2. Slot nothing
- Convert the Hex ID in oct or dec
- The Advance mode is enabled (99,000 bells in the last slot had - at the bottom right)
Everything did not work!

So um, I'm using my dad's 3DS.
The Browser version is 1.7567 and the System Update is at Ver. 9.5.0-22U
Yet when I copy the link to the internet, I get Failed.
It is because my ACNL cartridge was from my 3DS that has already been updated to the newest one?
What should I do to fix this?

Open the browser, tap on the spanner and delete History and Coockies then exit to save changes. Now re-open the Browser and try.
Heya, quick question:
After browsing this thread(didnt go throu all pages :o) i couldnt find an awsner, and even tho i have the file now in my SD i feel insecure:
I've done the Backupsave, it shows me a red(!) screen but i get a mori00.bin (the year is wrong, but could be because of my DS having the wrong date). Does this mean the Backup is not okay?
Also, in case i would like to hex-edit, can i restore the save as easy as yours? If not i may not consider doing so
Edit: When using the fertilizer my grass gets green overall, but after save+reload it's back like before. May be me silly and overread it, was it supposed to be a temporary effect? Item Spawn wont work either (tried a bag of purple pansy, hex 2042, placed correctly.)Haven't done anything else yet, waiting for response. Wouldn't be too sad if it doesn't work for me, since the insta wpw worked just fine(thanks for that)

funny how every second question is about if they gonna update it. Won't anybody understand that the exploid got fixed by the fact that its only for certain firmwares? Common sense huh

So I'm still having problems with the building seeder not wanting to work, and I don't know how to fix it.
Ah thank you! Everything works good.
But now, I can't go on the dock, despite the fact that Tortimer is waiting there. It's like an invisible wall. I had only really organized my villeger houses, used the money cheat and Item generator.
Where is the wall? If you changed houses location, maybe, they aren't changed at all. Try to evict the villager you changed house or use the 16 villager cycle-o-matic.

I'll try that, and the wall is right when you would normally walk on the dock. I can walk with the area around it but it leads nowhere.
Nothing blocking the dock at all. I'm just wondering if I have to reset everything all over again if it comes to that.
