Is there any advantages of this? I own Gateway, OOT, Cubic Ninja, 4.5 console, and 9.2 console. Like can this do anything Ninjhax cant
Since you have a flashcard, two exploitable games, and two consoles which firmware's are able to be exploited, this is pretty much useless, unless you're curious in how this works, by installing an emunand with it, but that's your decision.

Why don't you get your 3DS hard-modded if you do tutorial for noobs ? (Yes, I am a noob, too. I learnt downgrade O3DS by your tutorial video:P) That way, you can try the new freehax exploit on your 3ds and flash back to exploitable firmware with a Nand back up.

There are many people who don't know the existence of hacking and such, hell, i was wandering for a forum, which the main popular thing was the translation of a videogame for the 3DS, and i found a guy asking if the 3DS was able to play Japanese 3DS games on his 3DS US, obviously, not many people know about the existence of hacking outside of petty things like Android or some hacked ps2 games, hell, they may not even know the concept of homebrew, so, it's more like a question of how can you start from the scene, and if you decide to stay or not to stay, remember that noobs are the people who are beginners, but don't have the willpower to learn about an specific thing, and most of the time usually complain about how that didn't worked for it, and they are mostly kids, who are in a rampage when something doesn't work, newbies are different, they may be news to the scene, but they have the will to learn, and they will go upwards learning and finding how a system works, they may even scale from someone who didn't know jack shit, to someone who is an expert of hacking and has made some programs, homebrews and maybe CFW's, everyone starts as a newbie, but there is the variation of it which is the noobs, A noob can be turned into a newbie if they are willing to learn, that is the main difference between them.

tl;dr Working with the 3DS hacking isn't easy for beginners so, many people just stay from it because how "complicated" can be for them, but there are people (newbies) that, even if they are new to the theme, they can learn progressively many new things about the thread until they can dominate the thing.

I skimmed that but got the main point. I like noobs, I just don't like it when they assume "THIS IS FAKE AND YOU SHOULD DELETE THE VIDEO CUZ IT DOESN'T WORK ON 9.9!!!1!!"

When I first got my Action Replay DS, I wasn't amazed that a device could do cool stuff. I was amazed that people could make codes that do specific things. So that's when I started becoming a "newbie" instead of a "noob", I learned eventually.

We went a little off topic here

I didn't mean hardmod videos. I meant if you get your 3DS hard-modded, you gain a great tool to experiment more stuff without risking losing the exploitable firmware. Which will help you a lot especially you are doing Youtube video tutorials, since you may want experiment first before recording.

 I never go past newbie stage. Keep going between noob to newbie and back.

We went a little off topic here
Those aren't noobs, they are trolls, because files and documents of something demonstrate that, for example, the 3DS can work with some games because the QR codes inside of it are able to be worked upon, but well, yes, we went a little offtopic, and speaking of Ironfall Invasion, i downloaded the game on the eshop, and, to be honest, is not that good, i mean, the voice acting is cheesy, the plot is forgettable, the game is not even full, and the controls are bad (You have to aim the gun with the stylus, which is just fucking impossible since the only button you can shoot is with the L, but the map screen and look buttons are with the main buttons, if they had the Circle Pad as the direction button, and the directional buttons as the move button it would've been passable, but they decided to do that, anyway, the game quality isn't that nice, is just an all around forgettable shooter, the music is, okay, some parts sounds really forced to be something epic, which this game isn't, but as Cubic Ninja, nobody gives a shit about the game quality (Is actually not that bad of a game) if not, they care about the homebrew possibility of it.

I was pissed off when i found that i had to pay, for a game that was looking like something free, but instead, something that i had pay for both the multiplayer and the full game, for the good part, i can just simply download this thing full somewhere else (Smea didn't specified if this game had to be full, or just the demo, so, if he says that this game has to be full in order to exploit it, you have to pay for homebrew, though, still cheaper than buying a retail copy of CN)

Actually the thing was 1 person said it ran on his sysnand on a 9.0 New 3DS. But after he came back and explained he was using Pasta cfw with firmlaunch. So this defeated the purpose of anyone downloading it to their sysnand in hopes to launch the HB channel without their cubic or OoT carts.
Does Gateway use firmlaunch when you boot it to sysnand? If not then firmlaunch isn't needed either, just a spoof to trick the game into *thinking* your firmware is high enough. I was going to try with an older pasta (without firmlaunch) on my o3ds, but I'm having issues downloading the 9.2 firmware with 3dnus so I can upgrade.

Then again... I have a retail copy of Smash. I'll use that, then downgrade mset afterwords! Not today though. Maybe tonight or tomorrow (Japanese time zone)...

Edit: Shoot... Just saw another thread where Apache Thunder says GW uses firmlaunch. But... there are things now that run properly in GW mode, like the eshop spoof and NTR 3...

Edit2: And something else to consider. There are no kernel exploits on 9.3 firmware at all at the moment, so there is no reason why it should not run inside of GW mode, Firmlaunch or not. The FIRM can't have anything to do with what Ironhax exploits.
