I noticed on my EZ IV whenever i write game to nor (pres select on a rom) and start game from there, the game becomes glitcy ao even freeze...sometimes...but never when i load it directly. Whats wrong?
Did you make sure to wipe the prior game first? I remembered that you had to wipe the prior game from the NOR before loading another one to it?

hmm..i think i have. i also had two games written to nor as i remember, so that might be the probmem huh? il try to load only one to see what happens. thanks.

But what if i have the same problem with just one rom in nor, what could it be and what to do about it?

If you can't get it to work, I have a fix that should almost 100% solve your issue. It's a 32 MB blank ROM that you will write onto the NOR, then erase it. That way you're sure all blocks on the NOR have been wiped, since the ROM was occupying all blocks when you had written it to the NOR.

I can say there's a noticeable speed difference between the new and old model, both on V1.760.

When I load the same game side by side on two different GBA SP's, the old model loads the game slightly faster (the newer model is around eighty five percent or so). Of course, my old model is running off of a 2GB Mini SD and my new model is running off of a 4GB MicroSD, and I don't know how that would affect speeds.

Is this update supposed to work on EZ-Flash IV MiniSD? I think yes, but it doesn't. The newest soft I could run is old 1.72. Another after flashing makes just black screen (stuck on "Item discribe" and then go to black screen). Anyone knows solution?

Are you sure you created or let EZ Client create the .sav file inside SAVER folder on your SD? Without the file this problem could occur (because EZ-IV assumes that the file already exists)

Problem is I can't even launch file manager. After powering on my GBA, it stucks on this screen.

Exactly same situation as here:

Is it really my MiniSD problem?
