Thanks for answering but I found it here:

Putting the bmp file in rxtools/rxtools solved my problem

I'm loving the 3.0 build. No more need for Gateway and I'm so thankful for that, I'm not a fan of flash cards, so I put mine back up in it's box, keep up the amazing work

I had this post bookmarked. But it specifically mentions new3DS so I can neither confirm nor deny that it works on o3DS too. You'll have to test it to find out.

Previously the profile exploit was wiped till I tried this. Below are my actual steps.

1) Install the exploit using the N3DS_ROPInstaller.nds; e.g. Profile Name: slslasher
2) Go to settings and change Profile Name to another one; e.g. Profile Name: slslasher01
3) Launch a DS game, exploit would be gone
4) Install the exploit using the N3DS_ROPInstaller.nds again and it should be stuck

Extra Steps because I want to change back my original profile name
5) Go to settings and change Profile Name to my original one; e.g. Profile Name: slslasher
6) Launch exploit and test, there should be an error.
7) Install the exploit using the N3DS_ROPInstaller.nds again and it should be stuck

Just a very small request. Can we get a "Get latest version" sentence added to the first post so we can just click it and it instantly downloads it? Sort of like how the Nintendont thread is set up.

The latest version should be in the rxtools site. Those v3.0 posts are just beta and not intended to use for end users because of bugs.

If launch.rxtools.net does not work with compiled one from the latest source, go to http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/cakes?rxTools.dat
And if spider rop installer (code.bin) does not work, replace it with one on cakesfw thread and put it in sd card with ropCustom.txt which says [ rxTools.dat ]

i have a 3ds with 3.0.0-6u with the browser version 1.7455, if i update my 3ds with a smash 3ds cartridge, will i be able to run rxtools with the browser exploit?

Updating via cartridge will not get you newer version of internet browser.
duke_srg is currently working on 1.7455 spider exploit, so you can wait and see.
Or you can buy game cartridge which updates to 4.x or 6.x and DS cartridge like dstwo/r4i to use MSET exploit

really? i read that the exploit supported this browser version, is there no other way around that? besides buying more games.

Edit: older versions do support the browser i use.

No rxTools works on 8.1-9.2 as long as you have a browser.

That is not the case if you are using <4.0 browser since cartridge does not update browser.
Besides, rxTools works on 4.x~9.2 via browser if not updated by cartridge.

2 Options :
1) Sit and wait until 2.1 browser (yours) becoming supported (ETA : nobody knows. it can never be implemented)
2) Buy game cartridge 'and' DS flashcard

That's not what I remember. I remember it saying something about changing some colors somewhere.
