I was trying to change my sysnand region from EUR to JPN,
I tried to install the update cias from devmenu, it installed like 10 then said it ran out of room...
Heres what i did wrong: I turned my 3ds off, then found that the internet browser and other apps crash when opening now :(
I THINK i downgraded my mset from rxtools a while back, but i have no idea how to use it to fix my system...
Also read something about "SOAP Updating", seemed really complicated but i think that would fix my system.
Tell me if you know a way to fix my sysnand, I have a ds flashcart, no gateway.

you need to format your 3ds in the settings and you browser will work after that, or just restore your original NAND dump and restart all over again

Any other ideas?
Do one of the nand port mods. Only do if you are decent at soldering wires to small spots! once you make the port, and if you managed to make a back up of your sysnand before messing with it, just restore it and you'll be all good. there are people on here that offer services for making the port mod as well.

You can buy the Sky 3DS card or its clone (that works just as well) R5SDHC for playing your roms on the latest update without needing emunand. That is currently the only way, unless gateway steals smeas ninjahax 2.0 exploit sometime soon. but since you didnt make a nand back up, you're out of luck, for now at least.

Pasta can be launched from ninjhax. You can reinstall the correct internet browser cia in pasta mode?

Someone can tell us if this is possible.

IIRC Ninjhax uses the browser.

Ninja edit: No, not like O3DS spider exploits. It still uses it, just not by anything the user sees.

Restoring the NAND backup you made (via your hardmod, not the Gateway menu) before you started messing with the region should sort you out.

It's pretty difficult to fuck up a 3DS to the point where you can't save it by restoring your NAND backup.

I wasn't aware of anyone having successfully changed the region of their sysNAND, are you following a guide?

I region changed my N3DS SysNAND from JP to US right when people were trying to figure out how to do that. Works fine.

You tried messing with sysNAND without keeping a safe backup handy? I mean it sucks for you if you've fucked it beyond repair, but it'd be your fault for not taking precautions.
If you've got MSET downgraded, you should test launching rxTools or CakesFW with it, assuming you have a DS flashcart handy. If you can load either of those, you should be able to reinstall the broken apps.

Okay, cool.

Well, I see you don't have a NAND backup. I think your only options are; to update to the latest syssoft version, or to put your 3DS into a closet and hope that in twelve months time there's a better second option :P

This is only true if you have the proper soldering skills which not everyone does.
