So with Yoshi's Woolly World done I guess I'll give Monster Hunter 3 a chance because going back to MK8 just feels monotonous and same goes for Splatoon. Yoshi's Woolly World is definitely a great platformer on the Wii U and can last up to 50hrs (I clocked this much) with all the hidden collectibles and such.

I clocked 29 hrs for completing it 100%. I even went back to get the remaining enemy statues. The only thing left is unlocking all amiibo Yoshis, but this will be done with amiiqo, I guess. :)

That's good for ya but the hidden items whenever they're in the air it can be practically anywhere which makes it hard to locate without help.

There's always a way of knowing. Suspicious-looking empty spots are the most often where hidden items lurk. They're also commonly found between two platforms, and sometimes underneath platforms.

I'm so glad they implemented local co-op. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. Some of the levels were quite challenging. OK, not like the last two Donkey Kong games, but challenging enough :). Great game.

It feels like cheating that you can repeatedly flutter jump!

Seriously. Nobody in the states, frequenting this forum is playing this game???

No, I'm not hugely interested in this game, certainly not enough to buy it. I've never been into Yoshi games. This is precisely the kind of game that I'd pirate, play for one session, maybe two, and then never get around to playing again. I don't want to buy yet another game that I won't play.

I understand your sentiment. I'm also picky on what games to buy, especially with Wii U games being 60 bucks a pop. With that being said, I've been waiting for this game and subsequent Amiibo since E3 2014 and I'm happy with my purchase. :yayu: Word to anyone who is playing and has one of those PDP or Hori fight pads. This game is perfect for those controllers!

I liked Yoshi's Wooly World a lot more than Kirby's Epic Yarn. I realize that they're similar in a lot of ways, but my co-op partner and I stopped playing Kirby bored after a few levels and enjoyed every bit of Yoshi.
