I would recommend going and downloading all the free games.
Pokemon Rumble World and Photos with Mario are the games that smea has hinted at though.

Whatever the method is, I hope it isn't something that can be stopped by N, plenty of us live in different time zones and might not be able to set up our systems the second Smea announces everything (working/sleeping etc.)

That would work, except NNIDs are locked to the country you used during sign up. If you don't have a NNID attached then it works.
If you do however, you just lose eShop access until you change back.

I already had all of the free stuff anyways, so I'm good. But I actually play Pokemon Rumble, so that sucks. Hopefully the exploit won't interfere with the main gameplay.

I don't think it was ever released in the EU and JP region eShops.

But I am pretty sure that they sold the ar cards in stores when I was there. And mariowiki also says that it was released in JP. Maybe discontinued.

Did it explicitly say it was released as an eShop download in the JP region? Some games have weird eShop/retail release combinations for different regions.

I want them to come to Canada. Not necessarily PwM, but the $10 eShop cards. I spend to much with them costing $20, $35, and $50.

Smea just kind of hinted that it won't be working on 9.9. Some user told him he updated from 9.6 to 9.9 to access the eshop and Smea responded that he was pretty clear about waiting for instructions and that if the exploit doesn't work on that guy's 9.9 system then not to blame him.

I remember Smea specifically saying to ninjhax 2.0 people right before the release that he recommended we update to 9.9. Kind of lame.

Well, as far as I read, he said that he wasn't to blame if it didn't work, I take that as he didn't had time to test it on 9.9 and isn't sure his method will even work in 9.9; I take that as a hint that the new method is still some time away , but this is only my opinion
