Hi guys sorry about this separate post but getting no help elsewhere wanted to ask a few questions.I have an o3DS on 9.8 and N3DS on 9.9. I heard Gateway can work on my o3DS at 9.8 and Sky3ds can work on my N3DS at 9.9. Im trying to run a copy of the special edition of FE IF and add the english translations. Is this possible for either one or both? New at this. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Gateway can only work on fw 4-1 to 9.2, since both of your devices are above 9.2, your only luck will be sky3ds, but sky3ds still can't play fire emblem if due to bad templates, still need to wait for updates from sky

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
