theres some gameplay videos out there
game seems to run smooth, using the cstick control is pretty bad reported by some users forcing them to use ABXY (which isnt that great either)

Got a review code for it today. Plays fine for the most part, but the cstick is absolute crap to play with. I don't find the buttons awful, but id have preferred using 2 circle pads or something.

At least you guys got the new 3ds: cooler version. (:P)
True that!! I've had the game on PC but I'd love to have it on 3DS. Went from an American O3DS XL to a European N3DS for faceplate reasons. :P

Maybe Edmund will make retail versions possible like Yacht did for Shovel Knight. ;) Though a European eShop version will probably be out before that ever happens, I'll mark up my price just for that game anyway. Haha

Late to the party, but it's nuts that people are claiming that the old 3DS could've run it no problem. It took months of patches to get the Vita version consistently running at a stable framerate, and even then it still lags in some areas (Mama Gurdy, boss rush, etc.), though not nearly as badly as it used to; it would likely have taken a bunch of optimization and possibly content-cutting to get the game to run smoothly on the old 3DS even with the resolution downgrade. It's pretty clear the plan was always to release on all non-Sony systems at the same time, and it shows - the XBone has some odd texture bugs and the Wii U version crashes in dice rooms. There's simply no way it would've been playable inside of a reasonable timeframe, if ever.

Played a few quick games (thanks to the awesome tempers who got it dumped), and it seems like a lot of fun, I can see why people are into it. Haven't encountered any bugs yet.

If Cube Creator 3D(another Indie game) takes 28 days to be approved by NoE, we won't have to wait much longer than 1-2 weeks for TBOI:Rebirth!

God dammit, I thought I was going to get my second win tonight, then right after the "boss" exploded I got killed by a stray bullet.

This game is stupidly addictive.
