Have you tried to inject that data into another player? Can he/she get the golden tools from contests after that?

Anyway... I uploaded a new tool: the item generator! It's basically a pocket/dresser editor through QR codes. Just put any items you need and it will generate a quick QR code:

So when I use the Item Generator and I scan the QR code nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, I have an old 3ds xl on 4.5.0-9U and browser version 1.7567. Using the QR codes or manually putting in the files doesn't seem to dump the ram for me. The bottom screen doesn't change colors, but the browser crashes. After putting my sd card into my pc there's still no ram file.

Yes you need at least firmware 9.X for it to work. One thing I can think of is getting a copy of cubic ninja, install ninjhax and update to 9.5.0-22 with CFW and 3Dnus. Don't update via cartridge because your browser will not update and without the right browser you can't do the exploit.

Can you setup emunand then update it? It should work then.

So, completing encyclopedia works on other characters, but the caught bugs/fishes size will be 0.. not a problem though
And we get the goldens tools from the bugs/fishes contests

You also get the badges

ah yes, back again. Messing with the item editor this time, with my second player character, and I can't seem to get it to function, I use it while just generally out in town, and have a functioning 3ds that does the other injections fine. sorry bout the compression, I couldn't get the whole screen in 100%. so how does one successfully update using custom firmware? i downloaded the 9.5.0-22 USA firmware from 3dnus and imported the cias using devmenu. it bricked my 3ds though.

Should have used SysUpdater to update to 9.2.0-20U

Can someone do me a favor, and bring these to my island?

According to Sopheroo (pic credit to her btw), it will give you a bottomless basket of perfect fruit, with 0 as the number, but you can keep taking out as many as you want. I really want them on my island, to spam fruit on the ground and stuff, and be nice by giving people fruit. I was going to do it before I updated, but I'm stupid.. If someone can help me out here, then thanks! Just put them in your basket with either LeafTools or marc_max's editor, or hex, but that would be pointless, because you can just use the editor. My friend code is 2320-6745-2015. Make sure to best friend me if you want. Thanks again!

It is theoretically possible, as Smealum said that it could be done, but he didn't want to "cater to cheaters." I'm not flaming him or anything by the way, that's his opinion. So yeah, it is possible at least.

I guess you could inject stuff with ninjhax, but the only thing available to inject is Cubic Ninja itself.

As for the fruit, you mean the 0-flag fruit baskets? If you don't mind waiting I can help you with that.

And I've never used Ninjhax before, you can't take out the cartridge while running homebrew? What about downloaded games, do you think Ninjhax 2.0 can access their save data?

If you take it out the system hangs or something. And I doubt it can access other's save.

Please help!!
Back in March-April I was able to ram dump and inject fine on my 3DS 8.0.0-12U.
I took a break and then I downloaded the new files from the acnl ram tools.
I cleaned my cookies and history.
I move my mayor before dumping.
I get a GREEN SCREEN and it crashes and I turn off my 3ds.
Then when I go to the editor it says its an invalid file. I talk to Resetti and save before I dump as well.
How come this isn't working anymore?

The ram editor works between firmware 9.x up to 9.5.0-22.
Before upgrading your 3DS by any means, please do intense research on this topic on gbatemp, if you're not experienced you can brick your 3DS so be very cautious.

No, this has worked for me before. I have my ram file, its just invalid.
