It will be very interesting to have two versions, not only because it will be released first, but also because of the different choices in translation/localisation, including but not limited to the probably heavily censored content.
Also, 'muricas cultural values and trite morality sometime looks like something from the middle ages (yes, crusades included). Having something not so heavily "americanised" would be good from time to time.
Don't get me wrong, but just look at the homophobe reactions all around American forums after the recent ruling from the Supreme Court... Yuck...

i don't get how to get the xorpad file. the decrpyt9 site says to run make. but make is archive with no extension, i don't get it!

Thanks for this, worked perfect...love that it actually uses the 3DS file and converts it to Card1, Card2, and/or CIA. Already had the CIA installed but made a patched CIA and installed it. It installed it in the place of my current CIA and my save file still loaded without doing anything. Cant wait for future updates, it looks great so far!
For the Xorpad thing, I just went to that ISO site to download the xorpads, and downloaded the rom that corresponded with that. Pretty simple stuff after that.
I patched my 3ds backup and converted it to .cia then used fbi injector to install the cia I get an "invalid signature" error. The prepatched rom to cia works fine.
Edit: wait the patch only works on the special edition? I'm using a backup of Fire Emblem IF - Hoshido here
