I have been doing some heavy testing of the latest build of TempGBA (and the other version angelhp linked to), and I noticed some interesting behaviour.
When I trimmed and re-zip the roms I have, (to save space), I notice with the normal TempGBA build, most games run fine (excluding some like Sonic Advance that don't load at all, though I assume putting an uncompressed, untrimmed rom in there will make it work fine), but when I run them with the build angelhp suggested the framelimit seems to break and all the games run superfast, like it's stuck on fast forward/turbo.

Also, it seems the mode7 monkey intro causes a feeze using normatt's bios also, yet using normal GBA bios doesn't cause this issue and the game loads fine.

If I can fix the weird speedup issue, I'll test my logged list of broken games on the latest tempgba build and list any improvements angelhp's linked build fixes. (GT Advance's heavily corrupted graphics for instance would be an interesting thing to see if it's fixed since it's so noticable)

EDIT: Huh. For some reason the speedup glitch isn't happening anymore now. (might have been a side effect from a certain rom loading) but I can confirm already GT Advance 1+2 works better on it. (Though there seems to be a very minor layering issue on GT Advance 2). Though I tried Hamtaro: Ham Ham Heartbreak and it still freezes at the same point. (Though you DO see a little bit of the screen goes to black effect rather than a straight freeze). It also fixes blades of Thunder's control issue so you can get ingame now. (So there definitely are changes there, but exactly what is still unclear). Lego Knights Kingdom also works ingame now as does Duel Masters - Kaijudo Showdown (used to freeze on name entry screen)
EDIT 2: Yeah, it seems angelhp's list of fixes is about right. (I'll edit this again later listing all the guru meditation error games I found in testing anyway)

I used the Italian version of the game
The error screens pop up when i load the rom on tempgba
I tried with tempgba 1.45 and 1.45.4
The U version of the game works

How can i use "game_config.txt file"??
Into the file there are following lines:

Code:
# Pokemon Emerald (E/U)
# I don't know why this has an idle loop when Ruby doesn't....
game_name = POKEMON EMER
game_code = BPEE
vender_code = 01
idle_loop_eliminate_target = 080008ce
flash_rom_type = 128KB

# Pokemon Emerald (G)
game_name = POKEMON EMER
game_code = BPED
vender_code = 01
idle_loop_eliminate_target = 080008ce
flash_rom_type = 128KB

# Pokemon Emerald (F)
game_name = POKEMON EMER
game_code = BPEF
vender_code = 01
idle_loop_eliminate_target = 080008ce
flash_rom_type = 128KB

# Pokemon Emerald (S)
game_name = POKEMON EMER
game_code = BPES
vender_code = 01
idle_loop_eliminate_target = 080008ce
flash_rom_type = 128KB

# Pokemon Emerald (I)
game_name = POKEMON EMER
game_code = BPEI
vender_code = 01
idle_loop_eliminate_target = 080008ce
flash_rom_type = 128KB

I want to load the last: the italian version

Could someone test if the slowdown during battles in the North American release of Fire Emblem is fixed in the latest version? Considering buying a DStwo to run this emulator and I really want to be able to play Fire Emblem.

Weird, I just got a dstwo today and the same exact thing is happening to me also. I've tried different games and they all have the same choppy frame rate. I also tried formatting my SD card twice and a different version of TempGBA but nothing worked. Thanks for the tip about ndsgba though, I just tried it and that did work for me. Hopefully someone has a fix for this though.

I fixed it. Seems like the firmware for the chip onboard the dstwo is way out of date.

http://down.supercard.sc/download/dstwo/Firmware/ds2_update_20150703.zip

Download that, put the .nds on the microsd and run it to update - takes a fair bit of time.

Rebooted the 3ds, and tempgba runs fine :)

I have a problem with this Emu (tested all the versions of it on filetrip). If I go into the 'Save State' menu and there is no save state present for a game, then my DS just locks up with the message 'No Saved State Here'. Tried on a both a DS Lite and DSI-XL, and various SD cards. The only way around this is to map load/save state to hotkeys. I can then go into the save state menu, but if I browse to an empty slot, the DS locks up again. This restricts me to just one save per game. I'm having exactly the same problem in CATSFC. The old NDSGBA emu works fine for me in the 'Save State' menu.
