Don't update unless you need to. It's that simple.

If you don't need to update, don't do it. If you do, then you can update but you might have to wait a little while for a new webkit exploit. Devs predict this to take a few weeks or months.

Stay on 5.3.2 or lower and you'll be fine. Its unknown what the incoming update might contain....

Decision made lol

Can one of the mods sticky this so it doesn't get lost? (Cyan?) Seems it'll be useful here in the next while when there's a push to update.

Wouldn't it be better if a person like me just added these on GameTDB instead of doing something like this? :P

I can add the info there, plus most if not all of the firmware update data from this thread's already added.

Lustar (GameTDB owner) probably would like that there since it's a good place to compile all of this info.

Example

(Check the firmware box, that's where it's put.

Thanks for maintaining this list.

I don't know exactly what version firmware Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut (PAL) has, but I know that it's less than or equal to 4.1.0, which is the firmware I currently have on my Wii U, as it didn't ask me to update when I inserted the disc. This info may be worth putting in the table.

Also, Super Smash Bros For WiiU and Super Mario 3D World are not in the correct place alphabetically. And you might want to ignore the initial "The" in game titles, so that The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD would be listed under L for example, not T.

Is this list on a wiki anywhere, so that we could edit it directly?

I guess you could extend this list here http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Title_database
