ok then. ah and no, there was no item to do that. trying to get the final ice spell from vikemon, i ran through the whole area several times.

it seems that, depending on which way you choose to get to binary castle, cliffs or volcano, you beat one digimon and get either an item to extinguish the firewall in the volcano, or one to melt the snow in the cliffs. going one way ends up requiring you to open the other by using a high level water/fire move to free the way.

Ah. Thats interesting. Also any idea about the two cards I am missing? I keep buying jumbo packs and nothing, I am starting to think they are tied to password.

I dont use Platinumnumemon service much, ID 187 and ID 139, right to Venusmon and Wargreymon X respectivley.
187 is minervamon. and I'm almost certain i won her from any of the tower tournaments, 139 is blackwargreymonx. which i also probably got from one of the tournaments.
have you checked if you did them all?

Yeah I've done all the avalible battles up to unlocking the 2nd half of Midnight Canyon

well that probably explains it. you'll unlock a bunch more free battles and tournaments once you beat the game. i'd suspect at least the blackwargreymonx card is a reward for winning a free battle against that black haired kid on f40

I already bet the game once, but I did choose NG+,so that could've been the issue.

Just completed my first runthrough of the game on PSP. (Nice touch with the credits btw guys)
Had a good time playing this, well done for your hard work.
Ended up slaughtering the final boss with Seraphimon with maxed out Attack,Defense,Speed, and Brains, while also having 8000hp and 6000mp. Had to stock up on healing items though. (Because who needs defense when you can just keep punching everything till it dies!)
It's weird because I got 5 megas in my run, and 4 of those were Holy elementals. 2 MarineAngemons and 2 Seraphimons.
Even weirder was that I got those two Megas via both paths. i.e. Angewomon -> Seaphimon and MagnaAngemon -> Seraphimon.
I guess the game wanted me to have those megas. Huh...

you cant really slaughter that boss at all. more than anything, you pathetically chip away at it while throwing millions of healing disks and status cures.
and the first part with the miniworms? worst battle ever. cant get near to the core or you're constantly hit with stun status, so you have to use distance or AOE spells. but to use them, your digimon wants to be far enough away from everything and it just cant with the three enemies.
while maxing out my tamer rank (you can max it out just by repeating the final boss over and over) my digimon, at times, spent 3 minutes aimlessly walking around the battlefield, unable to use the judgement spell because it just had no room.

as for getting holies and all the same digimon, you'd have to have trained the same balanced stats all the time while keeping happiness high?
i think all the holy types require happiness. dark types need tons of intentional care mistakes so you basically dont get them unless you have no idea how anything in this game works (like toilets). and unless you use a guide or strongly experiment with stats, you'd easily end up on the same digimon, if the egg you chose share a pathway there.

Status Cures are for the weak. I just tanked it. Beat it on the second try when I realised I didn't have enough healing items. You can just target the egg manually and just keep punching it until your special builds up and then use that on it. I did like 4000 damage to the egg with Seraphimon's special.
The weird part is, I chose a different egg each time, almost at random. And I mixed the training up occasionally. But to be honest attack and defense are the easiest stats to train, (since you can time those easily, even on advanced training).
Brain and HP I just have to spam until I win. (Though MP is pretty easy. You just look at what side that doesn't have a bomb next to it has and then find the one with the matching side. Speed is fine too when you realise that sticking to the middle as much as you can allows you to react better to what's coming)
EDIT: I also never made a care mistake. I'm just too paranoid to make them. Even when you intentionally have to. I wanted to get the most out my Digimon's lifespan. (I would of had a Mega in my first generation if it were not for Agumon already being aged when you get him. I had the stats for it.)

I assume Tyller is referring to the title displayed at the top of PPSSPP. We looked in to it when someone asked after the 1.0 release, but couldn't quickly figure out how, so we moved on since it didn't seem important. I might get changed if we do a 1.2 release.

Well i'm not sure about PPSSPP since I'm playing it on my psp, but its probably the same title.

So did I, cause I eventually gave away all status cures to make room in the inventory. Its still highly annoying when, besides 3 minutes of running around, you're also stunned or pixelated for an additional 2 minutes inbetween attacks.
And i mean, i beat this boss with a miragegaogamon without any distance attacks on my first try. it took forever cause you barely can land any hits. i spend the first 10 minutes trying to beat the snakes, but by the time i killed the second one (even though it only took one hit per snake) the other one would respawn. they're constantly stopping your attacks with theirs too. very frustrating and yeah, it ended up being mostly waiting for special to fill up and aiming at the cocoon then.
second part was even more annoying since that think kept avoiding my attacks.

as for the minigames, heres a tip for 3d maze. you start, of course, from the bottom of the game and make your way up to the right number. once you get an eye for identifying the exit without a bomb, things will get much easier.
also, you can speed up your line following a lot if you realize that an even number of lines in a row means you stay on the same vertical line. (see upload)
for me, the only times i come close to failing on that game now, even on advanced, is if the line is constantly moving up like a spiral. like 1>2>3>1>2 etc, because then i need to follow every line 'manually' and sometimes run out of time to select the right answer.

the hp one, you can only do so much, but just always aiming for the 7 is a must. you always know where the seven is and if you can get the beat down for when the wheel makes one revolution, it gets much easier. i still prefer to keep it to intermediate for this one most of the time though, since advanced is just too hit and miss and I have to save between every single train just to make sure and that takes so much time.

as for your agumon, I'm pretty sure i've read of people getting megas on their first digimon, you sure you weren't going for something that required unlocking first? (i made that mistake too) wargreymon, dukemon, beelzemon, and a bunch of others only work once you unlock them.
