Welp, any news on this? I want to turn my old phone into a gaming console, and since the HDMI converter will take up the only USB port on it, I want to use a wireless controller, and my Wii U controllers are the only Bluetooth-capable controllers in the house, and I want to refrain from any additional purchases.
Also, sorry for the necrobump, but I didn't want to create a new thread for this if there was already one.

It wasn't true after a year-long bump, so it's not going to be true a couple months later.

Literally no one is working on this, there are cheaper and better controllers out there so there's simply no demand for any kind of fix. Your choices are still using that paid app which isn't on Google Play Store, or deal with using another controller.

It is possible. Just buy a cronusmax dongle + Bluetooth adapter and connect it with your phone. It works out of the box.

I saw this Mayflash Wii U pro controller usb adapter mentioned on another site. All you need is an otg cable. I'm thinking on getting one of these to use with my amazon fire tv.

I don't have one of these, but I do have an otg cable and connected my PS3 controller to my phone to play PSP games with the PPSSPP emu. This looks like what I have https://www.amazon.com/Micro-Cable-...g_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=0YQVR606NTMDVFBP1PYK

As for cromusmax goes, a ConsoleTuner Titan One will work just as well.

Look, Wiimote needs pin, Wii U Pro Controller has NO Bluetooth support whatsoever, and even worse I'm not even using Android, I'm using a Amazon Fire! I am currently trying to find my Wiimote pin, but there is still no Bluetooth for Wii U Pro Controller. I really want to use it because my Wii U gamepad broke (meaning I can't use my Wii U), and I don't want to sit around for the rest of my life, so please try to figure out a way to do this on Amazon Fire. :(

Dude, this thread is three years old. Don't reply to it.
You can't connect Wiimotes and Pro Controllers and such to Android devices. The Fire tablet is an Android device.
