My homebrew channel is brick cause i install a stupid ios 58 on my wii u and now i get error 162 3006 when i try updated my wii u and cant install homebrew channel. I need a pure ios 58 for my wii u so i can install it with my ios 58 isnstaller ( thanks to another thread)
I am in the same situation. Although I need others than ios 58. I need a ios 53 (rev 5919) and an ios 33 (rev 3864). I've done all the research I can and all I found is that I need these files in order to progress, but I looked all over the internet and can not find public ios's of these types. I posted this reply here because making a whole separate one of the similar subject would be pointless. (I'm guessing someone PMs these too us since its not public).

Check your PM. Hopefully you installed CIOS or a patched 236 before this. Otherwise there isn't much hope if you can't launch HBC. Your best best is to use disc exploit of your choice.

Just as an FYI, people really shouldn't be touching any IOS. There's almost 0 reason to other than loading titles from an SD and that's only 80.
I need help too, i just made the tutorial for d2x installer, and now i cant play GC games, cause the nintendont say "nintendont cant load or read nand" i think is cause i installed te d2x in ios 58, can you give a pure Wii U ios 58.wad ?

That's very unlikely your issue.
Make sure you have the XML and DOL in your nintendont directory on your SD.
If you think it is an issue, please post a syscheck first.

don't try to "fix" your issue by touching IOS58. You will break it, not fix it.
All the guide and stickies says to NEVER try to edit/install/patch/replace/whatever/etc. the IOS slots below 200.
Don't try to install or reinstall IOS58.

I had install the d2x on 249, 56 250, 57 . and 251, 58 <<< this is not an IOS ?? I downloaded xml and dol again and i put it again on nintendont directory in apps, and now i receive this error after nintendont start:

Maybe you don't understand what the cIOS is.
CIOS (custom IOS) is a patched IOS.
It's taking the official IOS from nintendo, make a copy and patch the copy, then install that patched copy in a free slot.
Installing "cIOS 249 base 56" means that the installer is using the official IOS files located in the slot 56 as a base for the new custom IOS, patch them to add USB2.0 redirection for Wii ISO and install the resulted patched file into the free slot 249.
Installing "cIOS 250 base 57" means that the installer is using the official IOS files located in the slot 57 as a base for the new custom IOS, patch them to add USB2.0 redirection for Wii ISO and install the resulted patched file into the free slot 250.
Installing "cIOS 251 base 58" means that the installer is using the official IOS files located in the slot 58 as a base for the new custom IOS, patch them to add USB2.0 redirection for Wii ISO and install the resulted patched file into the free slot 251.
the original data located in slot 58 is NOT modified or altered or replaced. You don't "install cIOS58", nor you don't install anything into IOS58 slot.
