I like how people assume that this is an April Fool's joke when in reality we've been in talks with 3D printing companies for quite some time discussing the possibility of creating a set of themed GBATemp Amiibos for at least a month. At one point we even wanted to release a gilded version of it as an exclusive, expensive item, but it's sort of hard to layer gold on plastics, so I think that fell through - I guess we'll see.
