F***K Sky3DS. Got my hands on a Cubic Ninja game a couple days ago off eBay for only $20. I knew the prices will shoot up with it being mentioned by Gateway and ESPECIALLY once they release their CN version of the exploit. So I preemptively bought it. At the prices I've seeing Zelda OOT selling at, I'd rather buy a ***king Sky3DS and that is saying something. The scalpers can go eat a ***k. :P

I bought my CN PAL copy off Ebay.it for €23 shipped to my country via Registered Airmail. I did that the moment I saw how great those guys at Karl3DS were doing.

Exactly what I've been suggesting people who are running around desperately trying to find a Zelda OoT. I remember I saw a post where a guy bought a JP OoT for $80  Could've just bought a Sky at that price and once Karl3DS gets released, he could EASILY GET REGIONFREE SKY3DS on his JP N3DS.

Its because of Gateway 3.1
It was super expensive before that. Like $60.

Get Cubic Ninja NOW at $30 and wait is the best advice if you want a deal.
I find it under 20 a lot. I post links on HacksDen whenever I do.

@OP I know someone on HacksDen who was considering selling his. I doubt he would sell it for only 40, but it's worth talking to him. His name is jonathanb9595 . PM me if you're interested.

I was telling everyone in the gateway 3.1 wait thread to purchase cubic ninja for gateway but everyone called me a troll, next time people should listen to me. Got my cart for 15$ ebgames new never used but open box. I knew the exploit would require a cart like cubic ninja, OoT was an unforeseen surprise but now both OoT and Cubic Ninja prices have skyrocketed even more, and they will just continue to go up.

Smealum sold Gateway the ninjhax enterypoint before ninjhax was released, they were probably working on the OoT exploit when smealum contacted them thus the reason the OoT release first.

I would advise forget about OoT as its a crap Shute if it will even work with 3.1 as many of the carts aren't compatible but all Cubic Ninja carts will be compatible with gateway on n3ds once gateway release the cubic ninja enterypoint, a and it's much cheaper.

Trying to find a OoT copy for cheap your a competing with legit people who want OoT to play it while Cubic Ninja, the only people who want Cubic Ninja is for ninjhax/homebrew, just get cubic ninja and wait.

What I don't seem to understand is why would Gateway even release the gimped OoT entrypoint? They could've very easily gone with Cubic Ninja and COMPLETELY ELIMINATED the stupid save file and old 3DS requirement.

Only reason I could think of was maybe it would work on firmware ABOVE 9.2 since Nintendo hasn't patched it yet, but Gateway's website clearly states 9.2 or below.

Edit: WAY OFF-TOPIC :P

There's also the possibility of Nintendo updating their firmware and effectively blocking emunand so there's that. I just ordered myself a Sky card to use OOT/CN on til GW releases a better entrypoint then sell it. It's really a pain in the ass to order something in the EU since you're most likely gonna get VAT taxed or whatnot. The best solution by now is the Sky card.

Did sonic or someone find a way to use a sky3ds to boot the gateway exploit with OoT rom? If so that's great news for sky3ds, they are going to get tons of sales as this would be safer then purchasing a OoT cart that may not work.

We should all own a gateway and a sky3ds for when a team falls behind, and ATM 3.1 is a buggy mess, I'd rather use my sky3ds but will use gateway if they find a better process. Just started playing OoT for the first time, only have one of the major temples left to do so I'd wait till cubic ninja entery point but if someone found a way to boot it with sky3ds I might try it out.

Actually they did and all seems fine AFAIK. CN and OOT was the main reason a bought a Sky, that and the reason that its most likely we will see a CN based CFW in the near future. That way we will be able to get basically everything GW offers via a CN or a Sky card.

Well no I already have my copy. But I could buy it for anyone who is still looking for it at MSRP, 39.99 canadian dollars.

Pip'
That's exactly what OP needs, I believe. Canada falls under the U region code and should work with whatever they need, not to mention the CAD->USD conversion rate makes it cheaper than the MSRP.

If only someone in Europe could do the same for me :/
