Last Thursday, in a GameStop store in North Philadelphia, an 8 year veteran Robert Wilson was buying his kid a gift. Two robbers came along into the store, and began shooting him as they found him an easy target. They made multiple shots towards him, and a shot in the head killed Officer Wilson.

"The officer was a hero and a warrior--he fought until the very, very end--firing at both of them." Philadelphia Police Homicide Capt. Darrell Clark said.

The two suspects were later caught and were charged with first-degree murder, as well as attempted murder for attacking Robert Wilson's partner.

Completely a saddening event, was very sad to find out. This officer was being a hero, and a good father. Rest in peace, Officer Robert Wilson.

Thanks for sharing. That's horrible and insane world we are living today.

I do not believed in Hero. He is doing it out of compassion and mercy and try to do his best to improve in his community, thats all. I applaud him for that but a hero is a coward and a self for an attention. I do not consider him a hero as people said he is. I consider him a true human being that many police should follow. :)

No I didn't. I posted this as a human being, not as a gamer. It's cold that you think that because that's not what I think. I just posted this because I just read this heartbreaking story, and I wanted to share it here. If I saw something else like a robbery or a shooting in Wal-Mart, or anywhere else, I would post it here.

I see. Then truly sorry for that question.

I'm sure his beloved ones will feel the sympathy shared in this thread inside their hearts.

I hope they get the death penalty.

That's cowardly things to say, really. I would be angry with them for murdering loved one but want them to get the death penalty is the worse scum ever to say that. They deserve the punishment is all I can say after all they are human being too. If you are a killer and does that make you a monster ? You wouldn't liked that people say to you, would they ? That's the point. I only feel sadden and upset that he died for nothing. ;)

Who let the deep m'lady 14 year-old in?
Please keep the "le world is horrible" crap by yourself. We don't need the same superficial and ungrateful comment every time someone posts bad news on the internet.

You are new and I came here for a long time before you. No, I am not 14 years old. Most of them around here know me and knew that I am deaf and my English grammar is something to do with deaf culture language. Look at sign language grammar at Google.

Anyway, thats your opinion. The crap is yourself. A few people just clicked like around here so they are true human being like me and they agreed with me. Therefore, dont be angry. We are all family here and we share our expression and opinion. For you, thanks for your opinion. ;)

There used to be a time when criminals had morals and a code of conduct. They wouldn't gun someone down in cold blood for example, they wouldn't lunch an old lady in the face, and for what? Pocket money, and maybe a credit card. Even animals don't act like that.

Oh, I am sure that being deaf has absolutely to do with "le world is terrible" kind of crap kids write nowadays when they want to act all deep on Facebook, just like writing about who came here first and how many people agreed with you. Or were you trying to get some sympathy from me? *tips fedora*

I think you underestimate the lows humanity has sunken to long before the modern age. There isn't some chivalrous code amongst criminals, and there never has been except perhaps among a handful of notable criminal organizations from the past hundred years or so. Especially murderers who do it just because often have something lacking emotionally and mentally that causes a disconnect, leaving them unable to comprehend their evil, or being able to acknowledge the wrongdoing but not being able to understand precisely why it's so wrong. This isn't something new though. History is littered with some of the worst people imaginable. Serial killers and torturers who kill for no reason except that they can, picking off the weak, the helpless, and even the strong at their weakest and most vulnerable moments. Men, women, children, young, old, it never mattered to the old evils as long as the victims were the right type for that particular killer, and it certainly doesn't matter today.

Welp, we went from a tragic even to "Real Human Bean" in no time flat. New record.

I don't know how to break this, but murder, rape, petty theft, etc. weren't exactly invented yesterday.

Man, this sucks. The father was buying a gift for his kid and these assholes had to go out on a killing spree than shoot anywhere but people.

It isn't like the 90's no more but there's still some great fathers out there, I guess he was too though due to this unfortunate shootout he won't be able to see his kid grow up, advise him and whatnot. So sad. :(

Rest in peace.
