We bump it to the front to alert our users that the channel is online, in case they havent subscribed to the channel or dont get a notification.
We dont have a widget yet to display when everything is online, so we use this thread as a tool for that.
We have also had a pretty regular attendance both by guests, and our userbase, so I would like to think that this is perfectly fine. Not really sure what the problem is, it only stays on the front page for as long as the stream is live anyway.

Why not? I love to know that the steam is online (because cba to check my email for twitch notification) but either way they are trying to get the twitch plugin for the forum so i guess soon you won't be seeing it on the front page.

Ah, I wasn't aware the plugin was in progress, thanks for that info. Sorry for being crabby today, I'm just depressed, and it happens... ^^;
