Hacking ez flash IV problems..noob question please help!

first off, i got GBA SP ags-101 EZflash IV and 2GB micro SD with adapter.
I just recieved EZIV flash cart and after puting "ezfla_up.bin" onto sd root and holding R and turning my GBA on this shows and it stuck there...

i first putted "ezfla_up.bin" from 1.75 eziv client folder (latest from website) and that older one....but same thing.

Please, what should i do? i yust want GBA games to play... :gba:

but my carD IS micro SD...and i dont hawe same problem....i dont understand, please dont redirect me, im confused. can you help me about MY problem?

make sure your card is not above 2gb (doesn't support sd hc before update)

try other micro sd card or adapter, or get a real mini sd card...

so you think its NOT the EZ itself the problem?

just try another 2gb micro sd card (dont got any spare one? either way try to get a mini sd card, it's cheap on ebay.. i got mine for 1.50€)
just buy a small capacity one like 512mb or even less, update ez iv and then you can try with a SDHC micro sd card...

ho, and format the current card using panasonic formatter (search on google for it, website is SDA something).... did you tried that?

i did not, i formated with windows normally.....

Try updating to the 1.72 update and then moving from there to 1.75

format it with sda formatter (also called panasonic formatter) put only the update file on the card for now, and give it a try, is the adapter good quality?
also, when removing the card make sure you use windows safe removal (not just copy and remove the card.. either wait 15 seconds before unplug it or safe remove it..)

ok..i tried now with 1.75 ind now its black screen.... wtf??

etit: now agai the same as before...

I'm afraid this happens if updating it with a not full comaptible memory.

ACTUALY my EZ flash works perfectly now!

all i did was putting peace of paper beneath contacts on cart

Its called as i saw a "paper trick" so simple xD

thanks to @Pieter Schutz for telling me what error "fat initial 0" means... it means card is not recognised, so i figured i should try with contacts and it worked!
