The question might be dumb, because I don't know if editing 3DS roms like that is possible.

If Sky3DS "remember" the title ID of 10 games, will it be possible that editing the title ID of a rom could permit to overpass this limitation ? Giving the title ID of the 10th game to a 11th, in order for it to be recognized as the 10th.
Couldn't people just use a false header in the rom then, to spoof the card into thinking a new rom is one of the original set of ten?
you can't just edit roms on a card that relies on using 1:1 dumps, edited roms run on gateway as it patches the FW to accept edited roms...this doesn't so you cant just edit the roms

Can any play different region roms?

I really want Ex Troopers on my New 3DS

sky3ds works by copying the hardware behaviour of a retail cartridge, there supposedly is no software exploit involved
as such, it also copies the region information of the game without a software way of circumventing it, so for now no region free unless someone can figure something out
(I could imagine, that you maybe could decrypt the rom, change the region info and re-encrypt the rom again and then... maybe... it could work? o.O
edit: nevermind, yeah gamesquest just said it... it won't run edited roms lol)

well if/when ssspwn is released, smealum said he should be able to get region free working, in which case you should be able to play roms from other regions using this by using ssspwn

inb4 "ssspwn will never be released wahhhhh!!!" just wait and see its a possibility just sit patiently

If I were to buy a flashcart for $100 I'd fucking hope that damn thing would play more than 10 games without making me lose them. What a scam this is and yet there's people defending this bullshit.

They're obviously pushing the "10 games only" to make dumbasses buy another flashcart from them.
Well yeah, but it still benefits the user in terms of $$$.
Unless you obtain a 4.5FW, paying $100 for ~$400 worth of games (Dependent on several factors including country and dollar exchange) is well worthwhile. If you can't see that, then you're blind mate!
Am I defending the choice (Assuming it wasn't a technical limitation) to limit the user to a maximum of 10 games per Sky3DS card? No, just pointing out that it's still cheaper to purchase the flashcart as opposed to buying the 10 games at retail price. (Or even sale price, for that matter)

in a recent tweet (yesterday or the day before that?) smea mentioned, that ssspwn has a fixed release date and that he won't change that anymore, so I guess it's safe to assume, it will be released ^^

This makes sense. I had another question after reading this. Couldn't you edit a file and upload to microsd, create a cmd so that when you hold the button down for a certain number of secs it will right the file to the chip/eeprom, reboot the 3DS (yeah I know, no one likes a reboot) and then you could be set, keep the limit of games at 10?
