I just like it for the convenience. I got all my EmuNAND channels (snes etc.), Wii games and GC games. The only issue I really had with USB Loader GX till now. The emulators won't show the USB HDD is chosen from USB Loader GX. Just weird. Anyhoo thanks for the help! Also since telling how to check it I just found out the reason my SC II game isn't working because the Hash is wrong :/

I like that too, USBLGX for everything :)
The HDD issue with homebrews you mention is known issue with USBLGX BUT there is a workaround.
Μake an /apps folder in your HDD root and point USBloader in it's path settings to the hdd/apps/ folder for homebrew.
Now whenever you press the homebrew icon in your screen (bottom of the screen) you can load the homebrew and it can still see the HDD. Two things to keep in mid though: 1) Do NOT do this with many homebrews (ie more than 40) cause USBLGX will stackdump sometimes. 2) Not all homebrews will work like this, but most will (i can vouch for SCUMMVM, WiiDoom, Quake GX, Wii64, WiiSX, SNES9X, FCEUGX, VBAGX, Wii2600, Wolfenstein Wii, Hexen Wii etc)
3) If a homebrew has many .dols in its folder (like Retroarch Wii, which has 16 .dol files in its' homebrew folder) it will show up many duplicates (as many as the .dol files are) in USBLGX homebrew browser, so avoid doing that for those homebrews, use a forwarder.

Anyway, back to Nintendont, false reports with obscenely big memory cards should at least acknowledge the use of a big MC when doing the report.

Lastly, i was told that Spartan was fixed in r.2190 (was last working in r.2.173) but i cannot access my Wii atm, i'll give it a shot when i can.

I've got an update that I think plenty of people will enjoy :)
-Your controller will now be detected and the appropriate .ini file will be selected. Extract the contents of controllers.zip to a folder named controllers in the root of your FAT device (so you'll have FAT:\controllers\0001.ini).
-Added exceptions for Virtua Striker v4 2006 (GVSJ9P, GVS46J, GVS46E) in the title database. This doesn't include ISO's that, for some weird reason, have had the title ID modified to match the 2002 version.
-Removed "Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut (Preview) Prototype" entry because it was useless and conflicting with some custom titles.

Note: The old controller.ini method still works, so if you only use one controller you don't have to change anything.
All the files in this zip go in SD:\controllers\ or USB:\controllers\

Ugh just remembering that old wbfs filesystem gives me nightmares. Not that it even matters since I never have to even do anything with my drive since it's all setup and ready to use, but ever since we were able to use a single FAT32 partition with a WBFS folder, things became SO much easier to deal with. Kids have it real good nowadays :P

How about giving us some details.
Version of nintendont?
version of cfg?
At what point do you get the black screen?
What drive is cfg on?
What drive is nintendont on?
After it black screens if you start nintendont from the homebrew channel does it auto boot the game correctly?

make sure you set the correct settings in cfg that you use for the game in nintendont (video mode, mc, etc)

OK, now some hands-on report from r.2.190
Wii 4.3 PAL, full 1:1 isos (see list/pic below), CRT TV, SCART RGB cable, MC emu on size=59 or 251, LED ON, USB ON, all other OFF, USBloader GX r1231
  • 007 From Russia with Love PAL works perfectly. Attention! After booted it will not see the CC at the start so the CC buttons will not respond. HOWEVER, if you press reset on the Wii, the game will reset and now the CC will be perfectly responsive. It will stay so even after the first level as well, so it does NOT disconnect as was mentioned, you just have to do the reset trick i just mentioned above. Update the compatibility list to reflect this.
  • Namco Museum NTSC works perfectly.
  • Spartan Total Warrior PAL works perfectly.
And finally, since i was asked to, here is a list/pic of my GC collection. The following games are run with a triple Nintendont combo like this:
2.167 (NC mod) for almost everything

2.184 (NC mod with IR) for GC FPS (Die Hard Vendetta, 007 Agent Under Fire, 007 Nightfire, Timesplitters 2, Timesplitters 3, Serious Sam, King Kong, XIII, Judge Dredd, Red Faction II, Geist etc) and games like the two LOTR ones or Freedom Fighters, Micro Machines, Dragon's Lair, Burnout 2, Sonic DX, NFS HP2 etc. IIRC,

and 2.190 for Spartan, 007 From Russia with Love, Namco Museum

Also, red icons mean the game is either not working yet on nintendont or has issues (note: the 2 Baten Kaitos games also have music loop & garble periodically)
GC 1.PNG
GC 2.PNG

As you can see, 95+% of my GC collection runs excellently on Nintendont: the work on this loader by the developer team has been incredible.

Does Native Control disable Memory card emulation?
I don't remember (based on user's comments) if it's linked to the memory card or only to the controllers.
I'm trying to list on first post all disabled options when using Native control.

You can enable Real Memory card without using Native Control, right?
Real card was added in the same revision as PATCHSI so it's confusing without testing (I didn't launch nintendont recently).

We need to change the file name to at least VID + PID their are controllers like "Trio Linker V1" and "Trust Predator Gamepad" booth use 0003 as the PID.
The system still wont allow for things like the "Mayflash 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box" which needs different configurations based on if a ps2 or a gamecube controller is plugged in.

Hmm. All the ones in the Nintendont svn had different PID's. Where is the controller.ini file for "Trust Predator Gamepad"?

I can't seem to use Nintendon't with CFG USB Loader properly, CFG loader seems to delete my settings.

Nintendon't 2.187 and CFG USB Loader 70r77

/games/ and /usb-loader/ folder are on USB drive, and the .dol files for CFG and Nintendont are on my SD card.

When I open Nintendont, I can turn on Memcard Emulation and Cheats, and play a game. The game will have cheats, and saves to the /saves/ folder on the USB.
If I close Nintendont and open it again, my settings are preserved and I can play the game again with cheats.

If I open CFG usb loader and run a game through Nintendont, it will load, but the screen tells me there is no memory card. If I continue to play, none of my cheats are in effect.

If I close Nintendont here, and go back to Nintendont itself, my settings are defaulted, and Memcard Emulation and Cheats are off, as though CFG loader is resetting them. Again, if i re-enable them, they will stay enabled if I use Nintendont exclusively and not use CFG loader (which I want to do for convienence).

Any ideas on how to fix this?
