Screw that, not updating till we know if it's safe or not.

I think that is for the people that do not care about the features.

This thread here, OP states vWii is completely unaffected or rather, what worked before still works, NWPlayer123, a developer, states that there's no cause for concern, http://gbatemp.net/threads/update-5-2-0-is-out.372129/

but didn't you and the homebrew dev say that it's ok to update to latest because they want the latest firmware for hacks or something? i won't update unless i'm forced to for a game and i haven't brought a wii u game in a while yet so, my wifi settings have been deleted too.

Folder in a folder with a twylight princess save = exploit right guys?

Hell yes my brother ^^

Then you might want to keep your Wii U disconnected from your Wifi cause Nintendo's new tactic is if you won't update your console we'll update it behind your back using the download management

In the other thread, yes, he said that the webkit still has a lot of bugs, and that the exploit being worked on won't be squandered by 5.2.0. Smash Bros will likely have it on the disc.

I've only exprienced the Wii U updating itself only once I don't know how to block it thoughI
Can't be perfectly blocked, you will have to have it to access online gaming.

Just recently I read that Xbox One is able to now play MKV video files and that is awesome but Nintendo gives barely anything useful, aside from the folders.

By the way, Nintendo get rid of that TVii icon on the European Wii U's since you're never going to make that available for us.

I guess maybe you could hide it in a folder...? Maybe?
