Can't tell if this is a software issue, or a hardware issue.
I do know its not a faulty video or power cable because I tried another wii and it starts with the same cables.
I haven't booted my wii up in about a year.
Tried it yesterday and it wont start up. when I plug it in the red standby light is on. When I power it on it turns on and immediately shows a blue slot light. Stays solid. There is no boot screen. The screen is completely black. If I hold the power button down it will shut off.
From what I remember I had it setup to boot directly into USB Loader GX on my external hard drive. The hard drive starts up when the wii is powered on. I plugged the hard drive into my PC and all the files are intact.
It has a modchip in it but I dont remember what kind.
I have priiloader installed on it, I tried holding the reset button while turning it on and the priiloader menu does not come on.
It does not have an SD card in it anymore. Not sure where it is. If its software issue I'm thinking that is the only possible reason. Maybe there is something needed on the missing SD Card?
I have my nand backed up on an SD card somewhere, but I cant see anything on the screen so it will be no help.
Any ideas?
