"thing" when used to describe the existence of occurrences of an event
As in "shopping online is 'a thing' now" (bad example I know)
FAIL being used as a noun, I want to say especially when preceded with the word "epic", but I'm really not sure which case irritates me more.

Remember when awesome meant something? I mean, sure, people haven't used to describe something awe-inspiring for quite a while, but at least the word had some power. Now it's just become the replacement for "cool," which now means "neat," and "neat" is just "okay" and telling someone something's just okay is tantamount to calling it shit.

The PSVita is one of those excellent products that just don't get the support they deserve. It was pretty top when it was first released and it still holds up just fine, I can't find too many faults in the hardware. It's the software support that's a little bit lacking and I can only hope that'll improve over time.
The Wii U is a generation behind in terms of hardware - that's why it's not getting the support it needs. I said it once and I'll say it a hundred times more - it's a great spec for competing with the Xbox 360 and the PS3, except those are not the consoles it should be competitive against.Same goes for the WiiU, then
The wrong use of the word literally. The worse thing is that since so many people used it wrong, dictionaries changed the word and decided it is now an antonym of itself.
"This insufferable words are literally killing me" is now an acceptable use of the word.

Omg. Per se is the most insufferable word/phrase ever. I had a co worker that said it all the time. I almost went postal.
