I have both: DESMUME and NO$GBA. They are great emulators. No bad names about it.. No better about it either. I am using both anyway. If you have older computer.. Go to NO$GBA.. If you have newer computer and faster then go to DESMUME. My computer is faster and I am happy with BOTH. :)

What are you people running Desmume on? I had a knackered old core2duo running 32bit XP (4 gigs of RAM, usually pretty full) and it would be fine until I decided to have real updates on the RAM viewers active, at which point it might chug a bit at some points in time.

No sadly ^^ , no$zoomer no longer works pass no$gba 2.6a .

Although if anyone can post at for request, it don't like most IPs, JPN site.

Are anyone knows how to reverse the attach.dll and no$zoomer.exe back to source code ?, most impossible , I try boomerang decompiler not much luck.

No$gba 2.7c can self stretch screens, now has a sound slider support , rotation still needed, it's getting most there by it's self.

Can anyone help me?

When I tried to check debugger with Digimon Story: Lost Evolution. It worked but I can't access the start menu or go to any other room.
I even restarted the game and it worked fine until it was supposed that I move from area to another,I can't even thought that when I use Desmume it is working fine.

I also got this! But I got answer for it! First, remove all version of No$gba, just leave the latest one only, either gaming or debugger version! Delete NO$GBA.INI file and Open the No$gba again. Change the setting and enjoy the games! Is works for me! :yaynds: If still same problem, I think gaming version are works but debugger.... I don''t know.... I hope drwhojan will find the problem on latest debugger version on this games soon. :)

EDIT:- Digimon Story Lost Evolution was CONFIRMED WORKING on No$gba Debugger version!!!! :yaynds:

The oddest thing I find was why he removed all old versions of his site...

Sine no$gba 2.6a was the main one that worked only with no$zoomer , It was the one he keep up until now. and that has also been removed apart from the latest only.

I get an appcrash each time I start the new no$gba (both gaming and debugging edition). It seems to be caused by LameACM.acm, which is quite weird, since no$gba does nothing with mp3.

Edit: I fixed by adding an empty lameacm.acm in the no$gba directory.

Playing with Blood of Bahamut rom, I noticed that unfortunately with the latest no$gba dev version, you can't edit on the fly some memory range.

I had to use previous revision to edit some Map adresses (0x06000CC0 in this screenshot):

Anyone tried emulating a DSi game?

EDIT: Oh.

The supported DSi features are: Bigger main memory, additional WRAM mapping, handlingof new bios swi functions, preparations for handling the various new DSi I/O ports, interpreting DSi cartridge headers, and more info about DSi hardware/software. Ie. a lot of important basic stuff for DSi emulation.

At the moment it's barely allowing to view DSi cartridges in the debugger - trying to run DSi games in the emulator doesn't really work yet (it might run for a few microseconds before hitting some unsupported I/O port).

If somebody wants to give it a try: Change the "NDS Mode" option to "DSi/retail" to enable DSi emulation (it's disabled by default; that allows to DSi enhanced games in NDS mode, rather then running them in still incompletly supported DSi mode).
And then, load a DSi cartridge... which might be problematic. Tools for dumping NDS cartridges are typically unable to dump DSi specific areas of the cartridges. There are a few homebrew DSi programs, but they don't appear to contain anything close to a valid DSi cart header, so no$gba won't even recognize them as DSi programs (minimum requirement for a DSi cartridge would be the DSi flag in cartheader[012h].bit1 being set).
