The log didn't write. I'm going to try again.

So, I had been running Wiiflow straight off my HDD, which is why the SD write wasn't working. To get the SD log to work, I ran Wiiflow off the SD.

When I did this though, the GameCube games stopped crashing.

So, there isn't any log to show—but on the upside it isn't crashing anymore!

Update: Also, I've been using the default theme.

AbdallahTerro, is there a way to have the "USB HID Controller" set to "Off" by default? I'm currently having to set it manually for each game. Thanks!

Being a mod for Sixaxis I thought it would be more logical to have it "on"
But sure, I can recompile with HID off by default, I just need to change the default setting.
And yeah running wiiflow off sd is always recommended, many emulators fail to load from HDD too.
At least we now know that the cause of the crash, I'll look into it later for USB only users.

I may have spoken too soon. I just loaded up Wave Race: Blue Storm and noticed there was no music. Turns out I had an old version of Nintendont on my SD card (the latest version was on my HDD, which I had been loading when Wiiflow was booting from my HDD).

I loaded the latest version of Nintendont onto my SD card, and now Wiiflow is doing a stack dump again.

So it looks like on my setup:
  • Wifflow Mod3 works with old Nintendont.
  • Latest unmodded Wiiflow works with latest Nintendont.
  • Wifflow Mod3 stack dumps with latest Nintendont.
I'll try to get a log file for you to look at.

-----------------------------------
UPDATE:

I just did a fresh install (deleted all Wiiflow + Nintendont related files on SD + HDD), and then installed Wiiflow Mod3 and the latest Nintendont. Everything seems to be working now.

If anyone is willing or interested, I compiled a wiiflow mod today that has new nintendont autoboot, sixaxis DS3 support and the old memory manager from rev 1054
the main reason for making this mod is having wii game booting stable when wiiflow is running in ios 58 mode (force cIOS option off)
this mod also have fixed URL for online custom game banner download

tried with Wii and PS3 controller sixaxis starting games from USB
all OK
the only thing you have to activate the memory card for every game
