What you could do is redesign the main wiki page so EACH game will have it's own page.
Then the main web page pulls the info out of each specific game's page.
Then you could easily track/check the History of edits to see how many edits that specific game title has and when and by whom.
I think that makes no difference, except for giving a bit more of background of each test and explain changes in the compatibility list (having a whole page gives you more space to write). You can already check the history and see which section of the compatibility page was changed (i.e. which letter) So I already know the IP from the person who changed Soul Calibur and XIII; but that's it. The issue isn't really finding out who made the change (though if we could know we could tell him how to do it correctly next time) but the fact that people doesn't read the notes about editing the list or ask how to do it.
Another issue is that people change the wiki according to their own findings. So, someone edited Soul calibur (i think) to say that it works fine in 1.130 but it freezes randomly (since it's "working" he didn't change the last working version to 1.111)... then Someone else comes and deletes the freezing note. Then, with this game, there really isn't a reason to have the last working version, because it is either working perfectly, or still working with some random freezes. It would be different if the game stopped working altogether.
With XIII, someone edited it to say it Works because now you can save (here again, no reason to change the last working version (1.126) because it is still working), and later edited it again as Issues, because it freezes at some point (by this point he either forgot what the last working version was or didn't know he had to add it. Then the same person that edited Soul Calibur II (the last time) edits this entry again to delete the note about the freezing and leaves it as Works, hence the "last working version" is again the one that's already shown.
So, tldr; I wouldn't say it was "wrong" to skip the last working version if the game is still working, I'd want it added if the game stopped working in the test just made. Also, it seems almost EVERYONE who edits the list does it anonimously, because there were only 5 or 6 people logged in in the History. So it really is hard to identify who made those changes (unless a mod makes a search user by ip in the forum)
In any case, I would think it should be possible to close the wiki so only logged in people can change it.
