I don't play so much on my 3DS and I if I am going to buy something for much money, I would prefer to wait and buy one that support 3DS games.
You're in for a long wait then. :D

They are the same, both have the correct website (www.r4ids.cn). :)

Sadly you can't see what revision these are, but I would imagine they are the latest.

recommend to buy Supercard DStwo, much better than R4i clones
DSTwo is the #1 DS mode flashcart, there is no question about that, but if he is not willing to pay the higher price and doesn't need the GBA emulator, R4i Gold is as good choice imo.

I am not really waiting because I prefer my PlayStation Vita. :P I thought it could be fun to play other games and there are many DS games. Zhuzhuchina say "Usually last version will be shipped" so I hope it's the last. Otherwise I can update it. Right?

Thank you. I will buy from Zhuzhuchina.

I bought an R4i Gold 3ds RTS 6.1 form a now dead site: www. n3ds-card.com.
First card got lost in the mail or just never shipped, but they sent a second for free and it came in a week. Card works perfectly after a year.

I'm a bit confused. OP suggests the R4i gold, but uses a picture that modchips direct uses to represent the R4DS wood (as pictured below). Are these cards one and the same, or does gold now refer to to the 3DS flash cart which competes with the Gateway 3DS? Or is this site not reputable?

hi,

will the R4i Gold 3ds RTS, work with the 2DS ? I, still, enjoy a lot of GBA games, currently I have the R4i Gold 3ds RTS and the EZ4 on a DSlite but thinking to get a 2DS, so can I run GBA on the 2DS using that R4i ?

thank you in advance

I have yet to find any US seller with any security when paying via credit card. At least one has failed to process and give an order number or anything, figured I'd try at least one, and I'll be watching my credit card rather closely for the next month. Now I have no cart to replace my aging one for my original DS Phat. Buyer beware on all the sites linked in the OP.

Since my ancient M3 Simply (I have it from 2007, when I first bought DS) can't play Caslevania - Portrain of Ruin (it freezes when you save) and the Game Boy/Game Boy Color emulation sucks (there are many games that can't be played well or freeze when you save/load), I'm looking for a cheap, original R4. Any recommendations? I would also ask your opinion about this site (which has fast, free shipping to all countries):
http://www.r4igold3ds.com/
Found it from the official site (I guess, I don't know if it's the official indeed or clone) of R4 Revolution:

You mean this one, right?
http://www.r4igold3ds.com/products/R4i-Gold-3DS-Card-from-www.r4ids.cn.html

Also I'm such an idiot: in euro currency (I live in Europe) it's much cheaper than I thought (the site opens with dollar currency). Seems I will buy this one if it is the original stuff.
It's a bit cheaper then nds-card.com pricing by 2 - 3 euros

yeah that's the card I have it works great I have somewhat a customized version of the media kernel they have. The media kernel still uses wood but their version of the kernel uses an older version of wood so I took wood from their new kernel and mixed it with the media kernel to get moonshell 2.02 support and their newest wood kernel in one package. Mind you, you can always just install the new wood kernel and install moonshell 2.10 as a homebrew app, but I find this kernel to be more convenient everything is in one menu instead of swtiching between the kernel and a homebrew.

Don't forget to use the panasonic SD Formatter with the Full(OverWrite) option before doing anything it'll save you the hassle of finding out some games don't work without messing with the settings of wood for specific games unless you format using the panasonic software that is
